da escritora e professora da Escola de Teatro da UFBA Cleise Furtado Mendes, com
o objetivo de estudar a construção de imagens de Brasil, articulada ao processo de
bricolagem na peça, montada com fragmentos de letras de canções da música
brasileira. Desse repertório de composições, pretende-se pensar, sob um viés pósestruturalista,
como se montam essas imagens com os trechos recortados,
considerando a ideia de que não se pode definir uma identidade nacional estável e
homogênea, mas uma multiplicidade de traços e características que continuamente
vão produzindo visões desse país. No primeiro capítulo do trabalho, traça-se, a partir
do conceito de antropofagia, um diálogo entre o modernismo brasileiro e o
Tropicalismo para que se possam estabelecer aproximações entre esses dois
movimentos e o objeto de estudo. No segundo capítulo, a discussão se propõe a
examinar como a bricolagem possibilita leituras diversas da nação brasileira,
considerando sua música um material cultural que, ao ser manipulado no corpo do
texto dramático, permite diversificadas leituras do Brasil. Na última parte da
dissertação, verticalizam-se as problematizações teóricas acerca do procedimento
de recorte e colagem e o modo como as relações intertextuais estabelecidas com o
uso das canções abalam a concepção aristotélica de gênero dramático, em especial
na montagem do diálogo dramático. / This dissertation discusses the creative process of Lábaro Estrelado, a play written
by Cleise Furtado Mendes, writer and professor at the School of Theater of Federal
University of Bahia, with the aim of studying the creation of multiple images of Brazil,
which is articulated with the bricolage process from the dramatic text, since the play
is constructed with fragments of songs from Brazilian music. Starting with this
mentioned repertoire of compositions, we aim to analyze, under a post-structuralist
bias, how these images of Brazil are created with fragments of songs, considering
that one cannot define a stable and homogeneous national identity, but a multiplicity
of traits and characteristics that will continually producing visions of the country. In
the first chapter, it is traced, from the concept of antropofagia, a dialogue between
the brazilian modernism and Tropicalism so it is possible to establish links between
these two movements and the object of study. In the second chapter, the discussion
aims to study how bricolage allows multiple readings of the Brazilian nation,
considering its music as a cultural material that, manipulated within the body text,
allows diversified readings and interpretations of Brazil. In the last part of the
dissertation, the theoretical articulations on the cut and paste procedure are
discussed and we also theorize about how the intertextuality relationships with the
use of the songs undermines the Aristotelian conception of dramatic genre,
particularly in the construction of dramatic dialogue.
