Previous issue date: 2018-08-27 / O crescimento do número de cervejarias artesanais no Brasil tem feito aumentar a atenção para esse setor. As cervejarias locais tem ganhado espaço no território brasileiro como já acontece em outros lugares do mundo. Além do mais, órgãos apontam um forte crescimento do setor cervejeiro em vários países, inclusive Brasil. Esta tendência de crescimento do setor, atrelados aos conhecimentos das técnicas de produção da cerveja já adquiridos, fizeram com que surgisse a oportunidade de construção de uma cervejaria. A proposta deste trabalho é apresentar modelos para essa tomada de decisão, baseado em fluxo de caixa descontado, múltiplos e principalmente opções reais. Os modelos de avaliação se mostraram complementares. A teoria das opções reais foi importante para capturar o valor da flexibilização no processo decisório, mostrando o quanto é valorizado a opção de expandir a cervejaria a qualquer momento. / The increase in the number of small brewerys in Brazil has increased even more attention to this sector. As local breweries have the space that does not exist Brazilian with what happens in other places of the world. In addition, several studies points to to the brewing sector growth in several countries, including Brazil. The valuation models were complementary. The theory of real options was important in capturing the value of flexibilization in the decision-making process, showing how valued the option of expanding the brewery is at any moment. This trend of growth processes, linked to the producing beer knowledge made an opportunity to construct a brewery from scratch. By the way, this work is showing signs of decision making.
