Previous issue date: 2009-11-12 / The dissertation deals with the predicament of women before the delivery of the child to the government, considered in light of the Theory of the Phallus. Its overall objective to know the meanings mothers attributed their children returned to the government, through the history of life and choices made. The specific objectives are: a). To investigate the life history of each woman, identifying relationships and relevant events, b). To characterize the choices of phallic objects and that inferences can be made to justify it, c). Highlight the significance for each parent, the child left in the care of the public d). Consider the relationship between maternal experiences before the decision to deliver the child to the public at present. The study has reference to the psychoanalytic knowledge, with clipping in the speech of Freud and Lacan, as well as contemporary authors to promote the understanding of the subject. The research is qualitative, with theoretical research, document and field. To collect the data were used institutional reports and semi-structured interviews with a sample of five women who have children housed in two institutions (shelters), high complexity, special protection, the Department of Social Welfare and Citizenship, the municipality Maracanau-Ce. The organization and data analysis were considered four categories: 1. Maternal experiences with their caregivers, 2. Maternal experiences in social relations, 3. The meaning attributed to the child and 4. The place the institution under-the life of each family. Compared with the course undertaken, we can conclude that delivery of the child to the public with an appeal or a sign for a reading of the mother as desiring subject suffers from a mismatch with what is expected of it socially. The subject has claimed some difficulties to take their role as mothers, as it was from people you do not have dedicated themselves to loving and law, which implied a resistance to the construction of relationships between these women and children by they generate.
Keywords: Female; Son; Phallus; Government; Psychoanalysis. / A dissertação trata dos impasses do feminino diante da entrega do filho ao poder público, considerados à luz da Teoria do Falo. Tem como objetivo geral conhecer os significados que as mães atribuem aos filhos entregues ao poder público, através da história de vida e escolhas efetuadas. Os objetivos específicos, são: a). Investigar a história de vida de cada mulher, identificando as relações e acontecimentos relevantes; b). Caracterizar as escolhas de objetos fálicos e que, inferências se podem fazer para justificá-la; c). Evidenciar o significado para cada mãe, do filho deixado aos cuidados do poder público; d). Considerar as relações entre as vivências maternas anteriores e a decisão de entregar o filho ao poder público no presente. O estudo tem como referência o saber psicanalítico, com recorte no discurso de Freud e Lacan, bem como autores contemporâneos que favoreçam a compreensão da temática. A pesquisa é de natureza qualitativa, com investigação teórica, documental e de campo. Para a coleta de dados foram utilizados relatórios institucionais e entrevistas semi-estruturadas, realizadas com uma amostra de cinco mulheres que têm crianças abrigadas em duas instituições (abrigos), de alta complexidade, da proteção especial, da Secretaria de Assistência Social e Cidadania do município de Maracanaú-Ce. Na organização e análise do material coletado foram consideradas quatro categorias: 1. As vivências maternas com seus cuidadores; 2. As vivências maternas nas relações sociais; 3. O sentido atribuído à criança e; 4. O lugar da instituição-abrigo na vida de cada família. Tomando como referência o percurso empreendido, pode-se concluir que a entrega do filho ao poder público diz de um apelo ou de uma sinalização para uma leitura de que a mãe, enquanto sujeito desejante sofre um desencontro com o que se espera dela socialmente. O sujeito reclamado tem certas dificuldades para ocupar seu papel de mãe, pois se constituiu a partir de outros personagens que não se dedicaram às relações de afeto e de lei, o que implicou numa resistência para a construção das relações entre essas mulheres e as crianças por elas geradas.
