Previous issue date: 2015-08-05 / FACEPE / Pretendemos nesta dissertação demonstrar, primeiramente, como setores leigos da Igreja católica (principalmente a JUC e a JEC) vão, progressivamente, adquirindo feições políticas de esquerda (influenciados pelos acontecimentos dos anos 50/60), a ponto de em 1962, se transformarem numa associação política socialista humanista, a Ação Popular. Intentamos, assim, traçar a história política desses agentes, que aos poucos assumem características heterogêneas, lutando por espaços, principalmente no meio juvenil. Vislumbraremos como estes momentos de rupturas e inovações vão se desenvolver na organização e quais os meios que a AP se utilizou para se manter atuante na sociedade sob o signo da ilegalidade. Permeada pela heterogeneidade, se formará duas alas opostas na organização: os guevaristas e os maoístas. Analisaremos como estas disputas serão acirradas após os acontecimentos de julho de 66, fato que levará a uma diretiva cada dia mais maoísta, afirmada na vitória da Carta dos Seis pontos. A vitória da ala maoísta da organização ocasionará um momento de racha em 1968, com a expulsão de membros importantes da hierarquia partidária e com os mesmos fundando o PRT. Para alcançar nossos objetivos, a fim de estabelecer um maior diálogo entre bibliografia e acontecimentos, pretendemos utilizar uma vasta gama de fontes, encontradas, sobretudo, no arquivo DOPS- PE e no fundo Duarte Pereira do Arquivo Edgard Leuenroth (AEL), presente no Campus da UNICAMP. Assim, utilizaremos os diversos Jornais, livretos e textos produzidos pela Imprensa local e pela AP; bem como as fontes orais de ex-militantes apistas. / We intent to demonstrate in this work, first, as laypeople of the Catholic Church (especially the JUC and the JEC) will progressively acquiring leftist political features (influenced by the events of 50/60 years), at the point in 1962, were transformed into a political association humanist and socialist, the Ação Popular. Thus, we will tracing the political history of these agents, who gradually take hetereogeneous, fighting for spaces, especially in the youth enviroment. We will see how these moments of breaks and innovations will develop in the organization, and what means that AP was used to keep itself active in a society under the signo of lawlessness. Full of heterogeneity, will be form two opposing wings inside the organization: the guevarists and the maoists. We analyze how these disputs will be fierce after the events of July 66, a fact that will lead to a directive, everyday, more and more maoist, affirmed in the victory of the chater of Seis Pontos. The victory of the maoist wing in the organization will result in a moment of “crack” in 1968, when happens expulsion of important members of the party hierarchy and with they founding the PRT. To achieve our goals, and establish a better dialogue between the literature and the events, we intend to use a large range of sources, founding, primarily, in the file DOPS-PE and at the file Duarte Pacheco Pereira, lacated in a Edgard Lauenroth Archive at UNICAMP. So, we intend to use various newspapers, books ant texts produced by the press and the AP itself, as well, oral sources of former militants of Ação Popular.
