Previous issue date: 2017-02-21 / CAPES / Considera que a memória oral foi por muito tempo a principal forma de transmissão do conhecimento em diversas sociedades na história humana. Questiona em que circunstâncias a contação de histórias contribui para a construção da memória, cultura coletiva e mediação da leitura na região do Cariri Cearense. Tem como objetivo geral identificar a contribuição das narrativas orais para a construção da memória coletiva, da identidade cultural e da transmissão da informação através da mediação da leitura na região do Cariri Cearense. Inclui como objetivos específicos: a) caracterizar a comunidade de contadores de história do Cariri Cearense; b) identificar as técnicas de transmissão de histórias utilizadas pelos contadores de história; c) analisar criticamente as informações presentes nas narrativas dos contadores de história. Realiza pesquisa exploratória, bibliográfica e documentária. Executa coleta de dados por meio de observação participante e entrevistas semiestruturadas, tendo como sujeitos da pesquisa contadores de histórias atuantes na região do Cariri Cearense, sobretudo do triângulo CRAJUBAR (Crato, Juazeiro do Norte e Barbalha). Efetua análise de conteúdo das entrevistas, compreendendo as seguintes etapas: ordenação dos dados, classificação e interpretação dos dados e análise final. A investigação revela que os contadores reconhecem a importância da reprodução das histórias como colaboradora para a construção da identidade da comunidade, entretanto, pouco utilizam traços culturais regionais em suas narrativas. / Considers that oral memory has long been the main form of transmission of knowledge in various societies in human history. Questions in what circumstances the storytelling contributes to the construction of memory, collective culture and mediation of reading in the region of Cariri Cearense. Its general objective is to identify the contribution of oral narratives to the construction of collective memory, cultural identity and the transmission of information through the mediation of reading in the region of Cariri Cearense. It includes as specific objectives: a) to characterize the community of storytellers of Cariri Cearense; b) identify the techniques of story transmission used by storytellers; c) critically analyze the information present in the narratives of storytellers. Performs exploratory, bibliographic and documentary research. It performs data collection through non-participant observation and semi-structured interviews, having as subjects of the survey storytellers operating in the region of Cariri Cearense, especially the triangle CRAJUBAR (Crato, Juazeiro do Norte and Barbalha). It performs content analysis of interviews, comprising the following steps: data ordering, data classification and interpretation, and final analysis. The investigation reveals that the accountants recognize the importance of the reproduction of the stories as collaborator for the construction of the identity of the community, however, they do not use regional cultural traits in their narratives.
