Previous issue date: 2014-08-18 / O objetivo deste estudo foi investigar o atendimento destinado ?s adolescentes autoras
de atos infracionais no estado do Rio Grande do Norte. Por meio do m?todo da Hist?ria
Oral Tem?tica e da an?lise documental, buscou-se desvelar aspectos hist?ricos do
atendimento realizado nas unidades femininas da Funda??o dos Direitos da Crian?a e do
Adolescente (FUNDAC), a partir das experi?ncias de profissionais que atuaram nestas
unidades, desde o in?cio das suas atividades. Para tanto, realizamos visitas ? FUNDAC e
ao Centro Educacional Padre Jo?o Maria (CEDUC), a fim de identificar profissionais
que pudessem colaborar com o estudo, bem como documentos institucionais sobre a
rotina do atendimento. Foram encontrados oito profissionais de tr?s unidades
identificadas: Granja Santana, Instituto Padre Jo?o Maria e CEDUC, que foram
entrevistados de acordo com um roteiro semiestruturado. A an?lise do material coletado
est? apoiada na teoria marxiana e na perspectiva feminista da divis?o sexual do trabalho.
Os resultados est?o organizados em cinco eixos de an?lise: (1) a cria??o das unidades de
atendimento; (2) a conduta ?desviante?: motivos para institucionaliza??o das
adolescentes; (3) propostas educacionais: uma vers?o feminina; (4) estrat?gias de
atendimento e; (5) as normas e a puni??o: a adolescente domesticada. O estudo aponta
que o cometimento do ato infracional pelas adolescentes no RN tem sido associado ?
conduta de suas fam?lias, principalmente de suas m?es. Al?m disso, em geral, as
estrat?gias de atendimento, as propostas educacionais e as medidas disciplinares foram e
t?m sido desenvolvidas com base na naturaliza??o do que ? o feminino. Assim, o
atendimento ?s adolescentes no RN, nesses trinta e cinco anos, deixou intacta a
hierarquiza??o existente na rela??o social entre os sexos, reproduzindo a subordina??o
das adolescentes no sistema de justi?a juvenil. / The objective of this study was to investigate the assistance for the female adolescents
perpetrators of offences in the state of Rio Grande do Norte. Through the Thematic Oral
History and Documentary Analysis methods, we sought to uncover historical aspects of
the work provided in women?s units of the Funda??o dos Direitos das Crian?as e
Adolescentes (FUNDAC) [Foundation for the Rights of Children and Adolescents],
from the experiences of professionals who have worked in these units since the
beginning of their activities. For this, we made visits to FUNDAC and the Centro
Educacional Padre Jo?o Maria (CEDUC) [Educational Center Father Jo?o Maria], to
identify professionals who could participate in the study, as well as institutional
documents on routine of treatment. Eight professionals were found from three identified
units: Granja Santana, Instituto Padre Jo?o Maria and CEDUC, who were interviewed
according to a semi-structured script. The analysis of the collected material is supported
in Marxian theory and feminist perspective on the sexual division of labor. The results
are organized into five areas of analysis: (1) the creation of the service units; (2) the
deviant ?behavior?: reasons for institutionalization of female adolescents; (3)
educational proposal: a female version; service strategies and; the rules and punishment:
the domesticated teenage girl. The study indicates that the commission of the offense by
the female adolescents in state of Rio Grande do Norte (RN) has been associated with
the conduct of their families, particularly their mothers. Moreover, in general, service
strategies, educational proposals, disciplinary measures were and have been developed
based on the naturalization of what is female. Therefore, the assistance to adolescent
girls in RN, those thirty-five years, left intact the existing hierarchy in social relations
between the sexes, it reproduced the subordination of female adolescents in the juvenile
justice system.
