Previous issue date: 2016-09-21 / Esta tese tem como objeto de investiga??o a responsabilidade enunciativa associada ao componente argumentativo em documentos de inqu?rito policial. Desse modo, ? desenvolvida com enfoque na enuncia??o e nos efeitos argumentativos dos enunciados. As quest?es que a norteiam s?o: a) como ocorre a responsabilidade enunciativa em documentos de inqu?rito policial? b) de que forma se d? a orienta??o argumentativa em documentos de inqu?rito policial? Diante das quest?es apresentadas, o objetivo geral da pesquisa ? investigar a responsabilidade enunciativa no inqu?rito policial. Os objetivos espec?ficos s?o analisar como ocorre a argumenta??o em documentos de inqu?rito policial e estudar o modo como a assun??o ou n?o assun??o da responsabilidde enunciativa direciona argumentativamente o leitor para a constru??o dos sentidos pretendidos nesses documentos. Partimos da hip?tese de que, ao assumir a responsabilidade enunciativa ou ponto de vista, o enunciador est? fazendo um encaminhamento argumentativo da l?ngua, sendo este direcionado em fun??o de um direcionamento utilizado para atingir um determinado prop?sito argumentativo, conforme as inten??es do enunciador. A pesquisa situa-se no ?mbito te?rico geral da lingu?stica de texto, especificamente, nos pressupostos da An?lise Textual dos Discursos (ATD), proposta por Adam (2011), com ?nfase na teoria da enuncia??o. De acordo com Adam (2011), a no??o de responsabilidade enunciativa refere-se aos recursos que o enunciador pode utilizar para apropriar-se da linguagem e assumir o seu ponto de vista ou atribu?-lo a outro. Trata-se de uma das dimens?es constitutivas da proposi??o-enunciado, juntamente com a representa??o discursiva e o valor ilocucion?rio. Quanto aos aspectos metodol?gicos, trata-se de uma pesquisa documental, de base descritiva, numa abordagem qualitativa em que se investiga um corpus constitu?do de nove inqu?ritos policiais, originados a partir de den?ncias registradas em uma Delegacia Especializada em Atendimento ? Mulher. No que concerne aos procedimentos de an?lise, aplicamos as oito categorias citadas por Adam (2011), consideradas capazes de marcar o grau de responsabilidade enunciativa de uma proposi??o, a saber, os ?ndices de pessoas, os d?iticos espaciais e temporais, os tempos verbais, as modalidades, os diferentes tipos de representa??o da fala, as indica??es de quadros mediadores, os fen?menos de modaliza??o auton?mica, as indica??es de um suporte de percep??es e de pensamentos relatados. Os resultados mostram que as marcas lingu?sticas da responsabilidade enunciativa incidem sobre a orienta??o argumentativa dos enunciados, uma vez que essas marcas lingu?sticas est?o relacionadas aos pontos de vista de enunciadores que atuam no quadro enunciativo desses documentos, podendo contribuir para indicar uma aproxima??o ou um distanciamento desses enunciadores de acordo com a orienta??o argumentativa dos enunciados. Conclui-se que a orienta??o argumentativa em documentos de inqu?rito policial pode contribuir para incriminar ou defender o acusado. Esses resultados refor?am, ainda, a relev?ncia do estudo das categorias adotadas para an?lise, principalmente no que diz respeito aos aspectos composicionais e enunciativos dos documentos que constituem inqu?rito policial. A an?lise propicia uma compreens?o sistematizada da fun??o das categorias aplicadas nos documentos, remetendo ao seu papel na tradi??o discursiva desses documentos. / The object of this investigaton is the enunciative responsibility in police investigation reports related to violent crimes against women. Enunciative Responsibility (ER) is a category of analysis in Texual Discourse Analysis (TDA), which refers to the resources that enunciators use to appropriate language and take up a point of veiw or attribute one to others (cf. ADAM, 2011). The leading questions for this research are: a) how can ER be described linguistically in police investigation reports; b) in what ways do the linguistic marks of ER direct, argumentatively, meaning making in police reports. Given these questions, the general objective of our research is to analyze the linguistic occurrences that indicate ER in police investigation reports. The specific objectives are: to identify occurrences of ER in police reports; analyze the way assuming ER does or does not argumentatively direct the reader to make meanings intended in these texts. We begin with the hypothesis that, assuming ER or not in the texts related to police investigation reports of violent crimes against women, the enunciators (victim, accused, police department official, presiding officer) argumentatively direct their discourse for eliciting the effects of the intended meanings in these texts: be they to accuse, incriminate or defend. The research is generally characterized as textual linguisitics, specifically from the perspective of the TDA, elaborated by Adam (2011), with an emphasis on Enunciation Theory. The methodology can be characterized as qualitative, descriptive documentary research, which investigates a corpus comprised of one police investigation report, collected at a Special Women?s Division of a Police Department. Analytical procedures include the application of eight categories proposed by Adam (2011), which are considered capable of marking the degree of ER of a proposition, revealing: personal marks, spatial and temporal deitics, the verb tenses, modality, the different types of speech, the indications of mediating frames, the autonimic modalization phenomenon, the indication of supporting perceptions and related thoughts. The results show that the linguistic marks of enunciative responsability occur within the utterances, driving the argument to form meanings from the point of view of the various interlocutors (victims, the accused, witnesses, the presiding officer, the police department official), (not) assuming ER argumentatively directs, in the texts analyzed to incriminate or defend the accused. These results reinforce the relevance of the study of the categories that were adopted for this analysis, mainly with respect to the compositional and enunciative aspects of the texts comprising police investigation reports analyzed. The analysis provided a systematic understanding of the function of the categories applied in the texts, referring to their role in the discursive tradition of texts as belonging to the administrative sphere that circulates in the domains of law enforcement and sentencing.
