Organizada em quatro capítulos, na tese propõe-se, a partir dos conteúdos histórico-culturais, bem como dos instrumentais, analisar, na obra televisiva, como ela se articula do ponto de vista de sua construção intermidial e também intercultural. Apontando a genealogia sobre a Amazônia fictícia e os formatos ficcionais televisivos, a investigação busca saber de que modo o imaginário sobre ela - formado pelos discursos históricos e literários - se apresenta neste formato massivo, como o da minissérie. A partir de uma obra de ficção - que traz, em si, um produto intermidial que, cultural e politicamente, parece adotar uma posição questionável no sentido de reproduzir um discurso anacrônico sobre a região - busca-se entender o papel da televisão na América Latina, analisando os seus produtos ficcionais, tratando da importância destes como divulgadores de traços identitários das diversas regiões do continente latino americano. Pela dimensão intermidial, com as variadas formas textuais e de gênero utilizadas na construção do roteiro, são analisados, tanto personagens, quanto as cenas e os recursos em que foram engendrados traços de interculturalidade na obra estudada, por suas temáticas e imagens sobre a história, as fronteiras e as identidades. A obra avalia, nesse passo, como um meio de comunicação de massa trabalha com essa relação de identidade e cultura numa narrativa centralizada entre os séculos XIX e XX e exibida no século XXI.<br> / Abstract : The following research analyses the television show "Amazonia: de Galvez a Chico Mendes" created by the brazilian soap opera writer Gloria Perez, in the direction of contribuiting for the debate of a monocultural vision and the homogeinity thought over the amazonian region. Organized in four chapters, this thesis purpose is to desconstruct the minisséries starting from the historical-cultural content, as well as the instrumental ones, as means of exposing how she interpretates from hers intermedia and intercultural point of view. Pointing the genealogy over the fictional amazon and the ficticionals aspects in the television universe, this investigation demonstrates in which way the #imaginary# presents to herself # constructed by literary and historical discourses # presenting itself in this massive format which is the minisséries. Starting from the fiction work # which brings, in itself, an intermedial product, even though, culturally and politically, appears to adopt a questionable position in the sense of reproduzing an anacronic discourse over the region # as well as understantanding the role of the television in the Latin America and analising their fictional products, treating the importance of them as disseminators of the identitaries traces from diferent regions of the latin american continent. From the intermidial dimension, as along the diverse textuals and genre formats used in the elaboration of the script, are analised both characters and scenes as like the resources which were engered interculturality traces in the studied work, through their themes and images over its history, borders and identities. Furthermore, this work evaluates, in this step, how a mass communicational system faces this relation between identity and culture in a narrative placed between the XIX and XX century and show on TV on the XXI century
