Previous issue date: 2013-01-16 / Financiadora de Estudos e Projetos / The present dissertation describe the studies conducted on the synthesis and photophysical properties of phthalocyanine dyes. The main propose of this work was to produce amphiphilic structures with low aggregation in solution. These properties are relevantfor photodynamic therapy (PDT) applications. The first synthetic methodology involved the preparation of two phthalonitriles which were previously prepared in our research group (3 and 6) (SCHEMES 1 and 2). (continue) / Neste trabalho foram realizados estudos visando à síntese e avaliações fotofísicas de corantes ftalocianínicos cujas estruturas apresentassem anfifilicidade e baixa agregação em solução, propriedades estas essenciais para aplicações em Terapia Fotodinâmica (PDT). A primeira metodologia que foi utilizada parte da síntese de dois ftalonitrilos já preparados anteriormente em nosso grupo de pesquisas sendo os compostos 3 e 6 (ESQUEMAS 1 e 2).
