Essa dissertação tem por objetivo geral analisar a integração brasileira com a parte ocidental da América do Sul sob a ótica da implantação da Rodovia Interoceânica, que liga o Brasil ao Oceano Pacífico a partir da conexão da BR-317 e BR-364 com a rodovia recém-inaugurada no Peru. Neste sentido, analisou-se a relevância e a função da implantação desta rodovia no processo de integração do Brasil com a América do Sul. A pesquisa conduzida neste trabalho encadeia-se a partir da análise da forma que se concretizou a implantação da Rodovia Interoceânica e qual o papel da Iniciativa para a Integração da Infraestrutura da América do Sul - IIRSA neste processo. As hipóteses provisórias foram confirmadas e verificadas sua admissibilidade, quais sejam a de que a Rodovia Interoceânica exercerá o papel de integrar o Brasil com a parte ocidental da América do Sul e de que a esta Estrada foi concretizada no processo de implantação da IIRSA. O trabalho está estruturado em quatro Capítulos, sendo que o primeiro faz um histórico da formulação e implantação da Rodovia Interoceânica Brasil-Peru. O segundo trata da integração sul-americana e as políticas de transportes no Brasil. O terceiro aborda a Rodovia Interoceânica e a Circulação, e por último, o capítulo 4 faz algumas considerações sobre a circulação entre o Brasil e o Peru. A abordagem teórica é tratada com uma discussão conceitual sobre a infraestrutura, a circulação, e a conciliação do termo logística como elementos fundamentais do trabalho. Para tanto, a noção de circulação trata-se como premissa no território necessária no horizonte da integração regional, que permite a fluidez e promove a competitividade. Para tal, foi utilizado uma revisão bibliográfica sobre o tema. Nessa ótica, entender as consequências da implantação da Rodovia Interoceânica a partir da visão da Geografia da Circulação, passa pelo entendimento da sua contribuição para a produção, e a estruturação, do território. Há de se reconhecer que a circulação é um pressuposto significativo tanto da dinâmica do capital, como do mundo globalizado. São alguns resultados dessa pesquisa a de apresentar os paradoxos da integração entre o Brasil e o Peru, que é muito reduzida, apesar do potencial e da aproximação geográfica entre ambos. A elaboração e adaptação de alguns mapas e o aproveitamento de outros, somados a algumas fotografias realizadas in loco corroboram com a compreensão do conjunto. / The current situation of the South American integration process entered the stage of physical integration projects between the countries of the continent, as a strong argument to overcome the natural barriers. This dissertation has the objective to analyze the Brazilian integration with the western part of South America from the perspective of implementation of the Interoceanic Highway, which connects Brazil to the Pacific Ocean from the BR-317 and BR-364 connection with the highway recently -inaugurada in Peru. In this sense, we analyzed the relevance and function of the implementation of this highway in Brazil's integration process with South America. The research conducted in this paper-chains from fashion analysis that concluded the implementation of the Interoceanic Highway and the role of the Initiative for the Integration of South American Infrastructure - IIRSA process. The provisional hypotheses were confirmed and verified its admissibility, namely that of the Interoceanic Highway will exercise the role of integrating Brazil with the western part of South America and that this road was completed in the implementation process of IIRSA. The work is structured in four chapters, the first of which is a history of the formulation and implementation of the Interoceanic Highway Brazil-Peru. The second deals with South American integration and transport policies in Brazil. The third addresses the Interoceanic Highway and the circulation, and finally, Chapter 4 makes some considerations on the movement between Brazil and Peru. The theoretical approach is treated with a conceptual discussion on the infrastructure, circulation, and the reconciliation of logistics term as fundamental elements of the work. Therefore, the notion of circulation it is premised on the territory needed on the horizon of regional integration, which allows the fluidity and promotes competitiveness. To do this, we used a literature review on the topic. From this perspective, understand the consequences of the implementation of the Interoceanic Highway from the vision of Geography Circulation, requires an understanding of their contribution to production, and the structuring of the territory. It must be noted that the movement is a significant assumption of both the capital dynamics, as the globalized world. Are some results of this research to present the paradoxes of integration between Brazil and Peru, which is very low, despite the potential and geographical proximity between both. The development and adaptation of some maps and the use of other, added a few photographs taken on site corroborate the understanding of the whole.
