Previous issue date: 2006-06-19 / A partir do questionamento sobre a função do divã no setting analítico prossegue-se a uma exploração do estatuto da imagem e do olhar na clínica e na teoria psicanalítica através dos conceitos de lembranças encobridoras, fantasia e fetiche. Sublinha-se o quanto essas formações indicam da imbricação entre a imagem e a palavra em sua constituição. Propõe-se uma analogia entre o trabalho de interpretação psicanalítica em sua forma mais complexa, a construção, com a noção de montagem cinematográfica, segundo a teoria de Serguei Eisenstein sobre a última. Ambos os trabalhos se realizam ao coligir fragmentos imagéticos na busca de construir narrativas prenhes de significância. Trata-se também da relação entre cinema e psicanálise brevemente. Num segundo momento, a noção lacaniana de objeto a vem auxiliar na caracterização teórica do campo do visual e circunscrever o vazio no lugar do olhar do Outro. Uma exploração de desenvolvimentos da teoria cinematográfica acerca de sua estruturação como linguagem leva à caracterização de um sujeito cinematográfico ligado ao olhar construído pela montagem e pelo enquadre, que o cinema oferta. Por fim, propõe-se um método psicanalítico de leitura do cinema, focado na constituição deste olhar e no desvelamento da identificação imaginária com ele. A analogia entre interpretação e montagem é levada adiante, apoiada sobre a questão do objeto a e da falta constitutiva, sendo finalmente proposta como uma montagem ao redor do vazio.
______________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / Taking as a starting point the question regarding the function of the couch in the analytic setting, an exploration of the status of image and glance in psychoanalytic clinic and theory is ensued. Such exploration is done through the concepts of screen memories, fantasy and fetish. It is stressed how much these formations indicate the intermixing of image and Word in their constitution. An analogy is proposed between the work of psychoanalytic interpretation in its most complex form, construction, and the notion of cinematographic montage, according to Sergei Eisenstein’s theory of the latest. Both works are accomplished through collecting and linking together image fragments with the aim of constructing narratives pregnant with significance. The relationship between psychoanalysis and cinema is also dealt with briefly. On a second moment the lacanian notion of the object a comes to aid in the theoretical characterization of the visual field end to circumscribe the void in the place of the gaze of the Other. An exploration of the developments of cinema theory regarding its structuring as a language leads to the characterization of a cinematographic subject linked to the glance constructed my montage and framing, which cinema offers. Finally, it is proposed a psychoanalytic method for reading cinema, focused on the constitution of such glance and on the unveiling of the imaginary identification to it. The analogy between interpretation and montage is taken further, supported by the developments on the object a and the constitutive lack, thus being finally proposed as a montage around the void.
