Previous issue date: 1996 / Resumo: Este trabalho buscou, numa ação transformadora, redimensionar o ensino da Língua Portuguesa em 3a, 4a e sa séries, através de uma pesquisa ação, envolvendo a pesquisadora e cinco professoras de uma escola pública da cidade de Ponta Grossa PR. o trabalho se desenvolveu através de reuniões, que tinham por objetivo criar um espaço de discussão e reflexão e que permitisse às professoras compreenderem o ensino da Língua como lugar de troca, de inter( ação) verbal e de interlocução. A análise das falas ocorridas em tais reuniões revelou um processo de transformação da prática docente. Nesse sentido, o nosso olhar esteve voltado para a questão pedagógica, isto é, como as professoras passaram a organizar o trabalho em sala de aula com o objetivo de propiciar aos seus alunos a oportunidade de se utilizarem de uma linguagem viva, dinâmica e significativa / Abstract: This work has tried to re-examine, by means of a transforming action, the teaching of the Portuguese language in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th years of the first grade, through an action research which involved this researcher and five teachers of a public school in Ponta Grossa, PR. This research was developed through meetings whose objective was to create conditions for discussions and reflections that gave the teachers the chance to understand the teaching of the Portuguese language as an opportunity for sharing experiences, for verbal interaction and interlocution. The analysis of what was said during these meetngs revealed a transforming process of the teacher' s practice. In this sense, our attention was directed at the pedagogical question, that is, to how the teachers started to organise their work in the c1assroom with the goal of giving the students the opportunity of using a lively, dynamic, and meaningful language / Mestrado / Psicologia Educacional / Mestre em Educação
