Previous issue date: 2003 / Resumo: O objetivo geral da presente Tese consiste em analisar toda a produção teórica de Michel Foucault, denominada por nós de "proto-arqueologia" até sua primeira incursão eminentemente arqueológica, a saber, sua Tese de Doutoramento, primeiramente denominada Folie et Déraison, e depois rebatizada de Histoire de Ia Folie, considerando aí o prefácio de sua primeira edição; o que equivale ao período de 1954 até 1961. A análise empreendida partiu da caracterização da interface e interlocução entre Foucault e a Fenomenologia, particularmente a fenomenologia de Edmund Husserl. Para atingir o objetivo geral desta caracterização, a Tese foi dividida em duas partes - a primeira analisa os textos da Proto-Arqueologia e a segunda a Histoire de Ia Folie, inclusive o Prefácio de sua primeira edição. Cada uma dessas partes foi dividida em dois capítulos, considerando o recorte analítico estabelecido, a saber, o de caracterizar aquela inter-relação entre Foucault e a fenomenologia husserliana apreendendo suas respectivas leituras acerca da significação e do conhecimento. Desse modo, foi possível perceber que há bem mais proximidade, do que se julga à primeira vista, entre os dois filósofos; e por esse viés interpretativo foi possível também apreender analiticamente características importantes do primeiro "fazer" arqueológico do filósofo francês / Abstract: The general objective of the present Dissertation consists of analyzing ali the theoretical production of Michel Foucault, denominated by us of "proto-archeology" until his/her first incursion eminently archeological, to know, his Thesis of Doctor, firstly denominated Folie et Déraison, and later rebaptized of Ia Histoire de Ia Folie, considering the foreword of his first edition there; what is equal to the period of 1954 up to 1961. The undertaken analysis left of the characterization of the interface and dialogue between Foucault and the Phenomenology, particularly Edmund Husserl's phenomenology. To reach the general objective of this characterization, the Dissertation it was divided in two parts - the first analyzes the texts of the Protoarcheology and second of the Histoire de Ia Folie, besides the Foreword of his first edition. Each one of those parts was divided in two chapters, considering the established analytical cutting, to know, the one of characterizing that interrelation between Foucault and the husserlian's phenomenology apprehending their respective readings concerning the significance and of the knowledge. This way, was possible to notice that there is much more proximity, that he/she feels to the first view, among the two philosophers; and for that interpretative inclination it was possible also to apprehend important characteristics of the first analytically " to do" archeological of the French philosopher / Doutorado
