This struggle permeated the whole narrative: on the one hand the feeling of fear and subversive guilt; of another to ensure a love that seems to increase with time. A love that will Riobaldo to rethink their existence, their identity, their being in the world. Diadorim in turn, reveals the ambiguity that reveals the human being. So if the company builds speeches and scripts through which our sexuality is perceived and experienced, and the trajectory of Riobaldo Diadorim shows that, above stereotypes and prejudices, what man is only human. / Ao transpor o pórtico que nos conduz ao grande labirinto formado pelas veredas rosianas, deparamo-nos com indivíduos marcados pelo desejo, cujas dimensões sexualidade, amor, corpo são determinadas pela dinâmica sócio-cultural em que estão inseridos. Contudo, se as padronizações culturais da sexualidade, muitas vezes reduzem o desejo a formas intercambiáveis; a natureza desejante de cada indivíduo pode propor o contrário: um universo desejante quase ilimitado na sua inventividade. Por isso, o presente trabalho tem por objetivo analisar as configurações do desejo homoerótico em sua conexão com as faces de Eros, no romance Grande Sertão: Veredas de João Guimarães Rosa. Para tanto, realizou-se um percurso teórico-metodológico sustentado na tradição da Sociologia da Literatura e na hermenêutica-fenomenológica, uma vez que a problematização do desejo
homoerótico se fez a partir da fala de Riobaldo quando remetida à imagem/lembrança de Diadorim. Nesta perspectiva, trabalhou-se o status homoerótico na fábula pelo viés
performático, principalmente no que tange à performance travestida de Reinaldo/Diadorim e pela noção de estranhamento que se revela no momento em Riobaldo se percebe apaixonado pelo companheiro. A conscientização desse sentimento transita entre as personagens em silêncios e segredos, sabedoria de amor que lhes penetra o ser, mas negado por ambos a ser declarado. Essa luta permeará toda a narrativa: de um lado o medo e a culpa desse sentimento subversivo; de outro a certeza de um amor que parece aumentar com o passar do tempo. Um amor que levará Riobaldo a repensar sua existência, sua identidade, seu estar no mundo. Diadorim, por sua vez, revela as ambigüidades que
descortinam o ser humano. Portanto, se a sociedade constrói discursos e scripts através dos quais nossa sexualidade é percebida e vivida, a trajetória de Riobaldo e Diadorim demonstra que, acima de estereótipos e preconceitos, o que há é apenas homem humano.
