From the second half of the eighteenth century until the late nineteenth century European travelers went through America collecting indigenous artifacts and natural elements. It featured a real process of capturing the heritage of others, justified by the inclusion of these elements in the Western intellectual universe, preventing their loss. The concept of repatriation (devolution and return of heritage to the places and people of origin) emerged as a counterpoint to this collector tradition. The objective of this research is to present and explore the concept of cybermyth for this using the concept of repatriation in tangible and intangible collections that result from ethnographic researches on habits, culture, language and mythology of the guarani indians from southern Brazil today. For this, the dynamics of cyberspace was used in a move that fits the logic of guarani oral culture rather than the written logic of the dominant society. To this end, a rapprochement with the conceptions of postanalytic theories of language philosophy (neo-pragmatism) and also with aspects related to cyber culture was sought. The theoretical framework used is holism (contextualist theory of truth, meaning and interpretation), with a dialectical approach (intercultural conversation, talking to the other instead of trying to put yourself in his place), and hermeneutic procedures of ressignification. Previous issue date: 2013 / Da segunda metade do século XVIII até o final do século XIX, viajantes europeus percorreram a América recolhendo elementos naturais e artefatos indígenas. Isso caracterizou um verdadeiro processo de captura da herança alheia, justificado pela inserção desses elementos no universo intelectual ocidental, evitando a sua perda. O conceito de repatriação (devolução e retorno de patrimônio aos locais e povos de origem) surgiu como contraponto dessa tradição colecionista. O objetivo desta tese é apresentar e explorar o conceito de “cibermito”, utilizando o conceito de repatriação em acervos materiais e imateriais resultantes de pesquisas etnográficas sobre hábitos, cultura, linguagem e mitologia dos índios guarani do sul do Brasil na atualidade. Para isso, pretende-se utilizar a dinâmica do ciberespaço num movimento similar à lógica da cultura oral guarani e não somente com a lógica escrita da sociedade dominante. Nesse intuito, buscou-se uma aproximação com as concepções das teorias pós-analíticas de filosofia da linguagem (neopragmatismo) e também com aspectos relacionados à cibercultura. O quadro de referência teórica utilizado é o holismo (teoria contextualista da verdade, significação e interpretação), com uma abordagem dialética (conversação intercultural, dialogando com o outro em vez de tentar se colocar no lugar dele), e procedimentos hermenêuticos de ressignificação. Este trabalho se justifica pela busca de uma repatriação no ciberespaço, mais adequada ao princípio oral e mitológico da cultura guarani do que com os princípios dos registros da sociedade dominante
