Previous issue date: 2016-01-16 / Coordena??o de Aperfei?oamento de Pessoal de N?vel Superior - CAPES / This thesis aims to describe and explain the semantic function of a-, i(m/n)- and des- morphemes, taking into account their negative sense. Therefore, this study is based on the Theory of Argumentation within Language (TAL), developed by Oswald Ducrot and colaborators. TAL has a strong relation with the saussurian theory, mainly about language, speech, sign, value and relation. It is from an example presented in Course of General Linguistics (CGL), desfazer (undo), that this work has its beginning: to explain the different argumentative values of the negative morphemes. For this purpouse, it was necessary, in addition to study what Ferdinand de Saussure has left, to verify how the negation theme was discussed since the beginning of TAL. This research is anchored in the current phase, Theory of the Semantic Blocks (TSB), developed, since 1992, by Marion Carel and Ducrot. For TSB, the negation is considered a way of poliphony, when the locutor, while enunciates, puts in scene enunciators, taking a stand about them. However, the authors study only the common negation and the metalinguistic negation. In this moment, it is intended to explain a different case of negation that has not been presented by the authores yet, and it is called deconstructive negation. So, twelve signs were analyzed, three of them are compounded by the morpheme a-, three other occurrences with i(m/n)-, and six with the morpheme des-. The cases with the morpheme des- were divided into two types of different negations. After the analysis, it was possible to explain how the negation can work in different ways, depending on the sign that the morpheme is related, especially, the morpheme des-. / Esta tese tem como objetivo descrever e explicar o funcionamento sem?ntico dos morfemas a-, i(m/n)- e des-, considerando seu sentido negativo. Para tanto, tal estudo est? fundamentado na Teoria da Argumenta??o na L?ngua (ANL), desenvolvida por Oswald Ducrot e colaboradores. A ANL tem forte rela??o com a teoria saussuriana, principalmente no que concerne os conceitos de l?ngua, fala, signo, valor e rela??o. ? a partir de um exemplo apresentado no Curso de Lingu?stica Geral (CLG), desfazer, que este trabalho tem seu princ?pio: explicar os diferentes valores argumentativos dos morfemas negativos. Para isso, foi necess?rio, al?m de estudar o legado deixado por Ferdinand de Saussure, verificar como a nega??o foi abordada desde o in?cio da ANL. Esta pesquisa est? ancorada na atual fase da ANL, a Teoria dos Blocos Sem?nticos (TBS), desenvolvida, desde 1992, por Marion Carel junto com Ducrot. Pela TBS, a nega??o ? vista como uma forma de polifonia, em que o locutor, ao enunciar, coloca em cena enunciadores, tomando posi??o em rela??o a eles. No entanto, os autores estudam somente a nega??o comum e a nega??o metalingu?stica. Aqui, pretende-se explicar um caso diferente de nega??o ainda n?o apresentado pelos autores, chamado de nega??o desconstrutiva. Para tanto, foram analisados doze signos, sendo tr?s do morfema a-, outros tr?s com ocorr?ncias de i(m/n)-, e seis com des-. Os casos do morfema des- foram divididos em dois tipos diferentes de nega??o.
