Previous issue date: 2016-06-10 / This dissertation aims to study racism in Brazilian football, for it starts from the analysis of 230 publications of the journal Folha de S?o Paulo during two cases: Des?bato / Grafite and Patricia Moreira / Aranha. The text explains: the process of civilization on sports, the history of football in the world and in the country (Brazil); race and racism concepts; the Brazilian black players on football; current racism cases; tribalism and culture of feeling an optical Michel Maffesoli; sports journalism and journalism studies, the spectacle of news, methodological procedures and content analysis of 2005 and 2014. The intention of this study is to identify how changes occurred on the covers. In the theoretical framework of this study were used, among others authors, the concepts of Helal (Helal (1997, 1998, 2001), Soares (2001, 1998), Silva (2008), Coelho (2003) and Vargas Llosa (2005). Based on the Content Analysis systematized by Bardin (1977), for structured, interpret and explore the media publications, central subject of the research. / Esta disserta??o ? um estudo sobre o racismo no futebol brasileiro a partir da an?lise de 230 publica??es das coberturas do jornal Folha de S?o Paulo em dois casos: Des?bato/ Grafite e Patr?cia Moreira/ Aranha. O texto aborda: o processo civilizat?rio dos esportes, o hist?rico do futebol no mundo e no pa?s; conceitos de ra?a e racismo; o negro no futebol brasileiro; casos de racismo na atualidade; tribalismo e cultura do sentimento sob a ?tica de Michel Maffesoli; jornalismo esportivo, a espetaculariza??o da not?cia, procedimentos metodol?gicos e a an?lise de conte?do das mat?rias publicadas em 2005 e 2014. A inten??o ? identificar as mudan?as ocorridas nas coberturas. Na fundamenta??o te?rica deste estudo foram utilizados, entre outros, os conceitos de Helal (1997, 1998, 2001), Soares (1998, 2001), Silva (2008), Coelho (2003) e Vargas Llosa (2005). Bardin (1977) para estruturar, explorar e interpretar as amostras da pesquisa.
