Previous issue date: 2018-03-08 / Conselho Nacional de Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento Cient?fico e Tecnol?gico - CNPq / For the purpose of mass indoctrination and gaining followers and supporters, the A??o Integralista Brasileira (AIB) engendered a set of control mechanisms. By the analisys of these mechanisms, it is possible to underestand the organic nature of the fascist movement in Brazil. This reaserch aims to investigate youth as one of the specific segments of the fascist movement, based on the periodic press. It seeks to underestand how the organization of the youngsters was used as an indoctrination instrument by AIB, with the objective of founding the Integralist Youth and, at the same time, molding the future followers of the movement. In order to do so, this dissertation presents a qualitative analisys by sampling, revealing how youth instrumentalization was done. The theoretical reference selected to support this analisys was the political culture. This reaserch intends to examine the discourse delivered by the official Integralist written press, in order to expose the mobilization mechanisms, used by the movement to engage young people. The investigation will explore four periodicals of great expression for the movement: the newspapers A Offensiva and Monitor Integralista and the magazines Anau?! and Brasil Feminino. In addition, a series of documents tha marked out important issues about youth in the movement were also examined. Regarding to conceptual aspects, the research proposes a reflection based on the youth sociology: youth is defined beyond age range, but based in symbols and representations, which are redefined throughout history. It provides a broader perspective to comprehend the youth engagement in the fascism lines / Objetivando a doutrina??o das massas para a posterior atra??o de um n?mero cada vez maior de adeptos as suas fileiras, a A??o Integralista Brasileira (AIB) organizou uma s?rie de mecanismos que, ao serem analisados, contribuem significativamente para a compreens?o da natureza org?nica do movimento de car?ter fascista. A presente pesquisa, apoiando-se na imprensa peri?dica enquanto fonte central de an?lise, tem a pretens?o de investigar um dos espec?ficos segmentos do movimento: a Juventude. Busca compreender sua organiza??o enquanto mais um dos instrumentos de doutrina??o do partido que visava, a um s? tempo, instituir a juventude integralista, mas tamb?m formar os futuros quadros do movimento. Para tanto, ? luz da cultura pol?tica enquanto referencial te?rico para a compreens?o de tal abordagem, tem-se como perspectiva a realiza??o de uma an?lise qualitativa abordando de que forma era feita a instrumentaliza??o deste segmento. O presente estudo pretende analisar o discurso veiculado pela imprensa oficialmente ligada ao integralismo a fim de demonstrar os principais mecanismos utilizados pelo movimento em prol da mobiliza??o da categoria juvenil. Optou-se pela an?lise de quatro peri?dicos de grande express?o para o movimento: Os jornais A Offensiva e Monitor Integralista, e as revistas Anau?! e Brasil Feminino; al?m de uma s?rie de documentos que definiram quest?es importantes sobre a tem?tica da juventude no movimento. Em rela??o aos aspectos mais conceituais, a investiga??o prop?e uma reflex?o pautada na sociologia da juventude que caracteriza este segmento enquanto uma categoria social que ultrapassa um crit?rio et?rio sendo definida de acordo com uma s?rie de s?mbolos e representa??es ressignificados ao longo da hist?ria. Tal concep??o de juventude auxilia na compreens?o do processo de fascistiza??o da juventude sob uma perspectiva mais ampla.
