Previous issue date: 25 / Nenhuma / O estudo tem como objetivo investigar a trajetória das políticas públicas educacionais com ênfase na Educação Infantil na cidade de São Luiz Gonzaga, detectando características circunstancias determinantes e/ou limitantes de uma ação educativa a serviço da cidadania. Tendo como base empírica o depoimento de sujeitos que atuaram no campo da Educação Infantil no município, bem como documentos oficiais normativos emanados das esferas federal, estadual e local, o estudo busca compreender como o município enfrentou as demandas existentes na área da Educação Infantil em sua incorporação como primeira etapa da educação básica. Verifica também a concepção de Estado que se fez presente na definição das políticas públicas para a Educação Infantil municipal. Para tal, apresenta: o contexto dos anos oitenta e a promulgação da Constituição Federal de 1988, marco das conquistas sociais pelo direito à Educação Infantil; o cenário dos anos noventa até os tempos atuais, as reformas implantadas pelo Estado neoliberal, em espec / The study has like objective to investigate the way of the educationals politic public with emphasis to Childish Education in São Luiz Gonzaga city, where it notes circumstance characteristics determined and / or limited of an educative action to service of the citizenship. It has like empirical base the subjects’ statement that have worked on Childish Education in this borough, as well as official documents from the federal sphere, state and site. The study wishes to understand like the municipal district has faced the necessities existent on Childish Education in its incorporation as first stage of the basic education. It has also verified the conception of State that it is present in the definition of the public politics to Childish Education municipal.
