This study analyzes the institutional life of the " Mad offender " through the discourses of technical actors ( judges, doctors , lawyers, prosecutors , public defenders and other professionals ) contained in documents as " expert report " , " report " , "sentence " , " order " , " opinion " among others . Here is the madness of society and ways to deal with it and discuss the mad and crazy in their legal and sociological boundaries, ie an approach to Brazilian law against " offending crazy " in sociological context . The results confirm the hypothesis that the institutional life of the "insane offender " can be conceived through the discourses of professionals involved in the current institutional model , which allow the existence and maintenance of such institutional system the way it is . The order of the current institutional reality allows visualization of an individual plots engulfed in a while that does not turn back , as the institution bears characteristics of isolation and social segregation in a blurred world of its purposes . The well - being and quality of life of the " mad - offender " are objects of little concern. / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / Este estudo analisa a institucionalidade da vida do “louco infrator”, por intermédio dos discursos dos atores técnicos (juízes, médicos, advogados, promotores, defensores públicos e outros profissionais) constantes em documentos como “laudo pericial”, “relatório”, “sentença”, “despacho”, “parecer”, entre outros. Apresentamos a loucura e as formas de a sociedade lidar com ela e discutimos o louco e a loucura em suas fronteiras jurídico-sociológicas, ou seja, uma abordagem da legislação brasileira frente ao “louco infrator” no contexto sociológico. Os resultados confirmam a hipótese de que a institucionalidade da vida do “louco infrator” pode ser concebida por meio dos discursos dos profissionais envolvidos no modelo institucional atual, os quais permitem a existência e a manutenção de tal sistema institucional da forma como ele é. A ordem da realidade institucional atual permite a visualização de um indivíduo engolido pelas tramas de um tempo que não volta atrás, já que a instituição carrega características de isolamento e segregação sociais em um mundo desfocado de suas finalidades. O bem-estar e a qualidade de vida do “louco-infrator” são objetos de pouca preocupação.
