nÃo hà / A presente dissertaÃÃo compreende um estudo sobre a avaliaÃÃo da extensÃo universitÃria na Universidade Federal do Cearà (UFC), tendo como objeto de investigaÃÃo o projeto Casas de Cultura Estrangeira (CCE). PropÃe-se discutir o papel da extensÃo, enquanto funÃÃo social da EducaÃÃo Superior, frente Ãs polÃticas pÃblicas para a sociedade; a sua relevÃncia acadÃmica, que à a articulaÃÃo da extensÃo com o ensino e a pesquisa, e a relevÃncia social, que à a relaÃÃo da extensÃo com a sociedade. O estudo objetivou descrever a autoavaliaÃÃo dos alunos, professores e funcionÃrios, como agentes internos do projeto CCE, tomando como suporte teÃrico preferencial a AvaliaÃÃo Institucional. Para tanto, tomou-se como referÃncia o roteiro da AutoavaliaÃÃo proposto pelo Sistema Nacional de AvaliaÃÃo da EducaÃÃo Superior (SINAES), em particular as dimensÃes polÃticas para a extensÃo e responsabilidade social. Procedeu-se a uma pesquisa de campo, com participaÃÃo voluntÃria, utilizando questionÃrios para os alunos, professores e funcionÃrios, pesquisa bibliogrÃfica e observaÃÃo participante. Com uma combinaÃÃo das abordagens quantitativa e qualitativa, a anÃlise dos dados permitiu conhecer o perfil dos agentes internos e mensurar as suas opiniÃes sobre atividades acadÃmicas, administrativas e de inclusÃo social do projeto CCE. O mÃtodo utilizado foi a pesquisa descritiva, que possibilitou uma anÃlise crÃtica sobre a qual se procurou valorar a opiniÃo dos agentes internos. Os resultados obtidos apontaram, que, apesar de uma avaliaÃÃo satisfatÃria, hà a necessidade de reflexÃo no sentido de implementar aÃÃes que visem ao aprimoramento do projeto CCE. Portanto, o importante à que os resultados da avaliaÃÃo possam contribuir para o processo da AvaliaÃÃo Institucional da UFC, com vistas a orientar a promoÃÃo das suas polÃticas pÃblicas e com a prÃtica da extensÃo universitÃria comprometida com a qualidade, tanto do ponto de vista acadÃmico quanto social. / This dissertation includes a study on the evaluation of university extension at the Federal University of Cearà (UFC) having as object of investigation the Casas de Cultura Estrangeira (CCE) project. We propose to discuss the role of extension as a social function of Higher Education, facing public policies for the society and its academic relevance, which is the articulation of extension with teaching, research and social relevance, which is the relationship between extension and society. The study aimed to describe the self-assessment of students, teachers and workers as internal agents of the CCE project, taking Institutional Assessment as a preferential theoretical support. Thus, it was taken as a reference of the Self-Assessment schedule, proposed by the Higher Education National System of Assessment (SINAES), particularly the political dimensions to the extension and social responsibility. There was a field research, with voluntary participation, using questionnaires for students, professors and staff as well as bibliographical research and participant observation. With a combination of quantitative and qualitative approaches, data analysis helped identify the profile of internal servants and measure their views on the academic, administrative and social inclusion of the CCE project. The method used was the descriptive research that enabled a critical analysis on which we have tried to assess the views of domestic servants. The results showed that despite the satisfactory assessment, there is need for reflection to implement actions aimed at improving the CCE project. The approach used was the descriptive research which enabled the critical analysis of the data about which it was tried to value the internal agentsâ opinion. The results obtained showed that in spite of a satisfactory evaluation, there is the need of reflection meaning to implement actions which aim at improving the CCE project. Therefore, the most important is that the results of the evaluation may contribute with the Institutional Evaluation process of UFC, meaning to guide the promotion of public policies and the university extension practice committed to quality, both in the academic and social point of view.
