CoordenaÃÃo de AperfeiÃoamento de NÃvel Superior / O processo de leitura e escrita vivenciado pelos alunos surdos envolve o conhecimento de duas lÃnguas distintas: a LÃngua de Sinais e a LÃngua Portuguesa. As diferenÃas entre essas lÃnguas e a ausÃncia de experiÃncias significativas com a escrita na escola sÃo variÃveis que podem tornar o aprendizado da leitura e da escrita um processo difÃcil para estes alunos. Ademais, muitos de seus textos sÃo mal interpretados em funÃÃo das especificidades que apresentam. Neste trabalho, objetivo analisar a escrita de dois surdos adultos, o que me motivou a pensar em atividades que fossem direcionadas à produÃÃo textual e que, ao mesmo tempo, pudessem ser motivadoras para os sujeitos da pesquisa. Com este intuito, utilizo o suporte do computador e da imagem. A anÃlise dos textos foi realizada com base nos seguintes parÃmetros: a estrutura narrativa dos textos e o uso de recursos coesivos como os conectivos e a referenciaÃÃo. Como resultado, verifiquei que os textos dos sujeitos se diferenciavam um do outro, o que relaciono ao fato de eles terem vivenciado, ao longo de suas vidas, experiÃncias diferentes com a LÃngua de Sinais e com a LÃngua Portuguesa. AlÃm disso, percebi que, mesmo com as dificuldades que os sujeitos apresentavam na LÃngua Portuguesa, seus textos reuniam vÃrios elementos caracterÃsticos dessa lÃngua, tais como: a presenÃa de conectores (preposiÃÃes, conjunÃÃes) e da referenciaÃÃo, que contribuem para a coesÃo textual. / The reading and writing process experienced by deaf students involves knowledge in two different languages: Sign Language and Portuguese. The differences between these languages and the lack of significant experiences with writing at school are variables which can make the reading and writing learning a hard process to those students. Besides most of their texts are misinterpreted because of the specifications they present. In this work, I aim to analyze the writing of two deaf adults, what motivated me to think about activities that were directed to textual production and, at the same time, could be motivating to the subjects of the research. With this intention, I used computer and image as supports. The analysis of the texts was carried out based in the following parameters: the narrative structure of the texts and the use of cohesive devices as connectives and reference. As results, I verified that there were differences among the texts of the subjects â what I related to the fact that, throughout their lives, they went through different experiences with Sign Language and with Portuguese. Moreover I realized that, even with the difficulties the subjects presented in Portuguese, their texts brought together several characteristic elements of that language such as: the presence of connectives (prepositions, conjunctions) and reference which contribute to textual cohesion.
