FundaÃÃo Cearense de Apoio ao Desenvolvimento Cientifico e TecnolÃgico / O turismo à uma atividade importante no Nordeste Brasileiro. A prÃtica relaciona-se com as dinÃmicas metropolitanas e a valorizaÃÃo dos espaÃos litorÃneos, os quais ganharam importÃncia devido a outros hÃbitos de lazer, tornando-se Ãreas principais para investimentos e fluxos turÃsticos. Assim, o litoral apresenta-se como o principal espaÃo turÃstico do sÃculo XXI, com infraestrutura consolidada, discursos polÃticos e
imaginÃrio que promovem um cenÃrio positivo da regiÃo costeira. O trabalho As polÃticas pÃblicas do turismo e espaÃos litorÃneos na RegiÃo Metropolitana de Fortaleza tem, pois, como objetivo geral compreender as conjugaÃÃes socioespaciais do turismo nos espaÃos litorÃneos da RegiÃo Metropolitana de Fortaleza. VÃrias polÃticas pÃblicas de diferenciadas escalas governamentais sÃo implantadas no intuito de promover o crescimento do turismo e a ampliaÃÃo dos seus recursos. PorÃm o PRODETUR/NE destaca-se com o aporte de investimentos
e a articulaÃÃo das aÃÃes turÃsticas, promovendo transformaÃÃes profundas na produÃÃo espacial litorÃnea da RegiÃo Metropolitana de Fortaleza. Assim, a produÃÃo dos espaÃos litorÃneos metropolitanos ocorre mediante as relaÃÃes entre os agentes turÃsticos e as polÃticas pÃblicas direcionadas ao turismo. Com base nessa lÃgica metropolitana e turÃstica, este trabalho visa compreender os tipos de fluxos e empreendimentos em que os espaÃos sÃo redefinidos. Assim, as tipologias espaciais â grandes empreendimentos, hÃbridos e fora do circuito turÃstico â promovem discussÃes sobre adiferenciaÃÃo espacial produzida pela lÃgica das
polÃticas pÃblicas, pelos agentes turÃsticos e pela lÃgica litorÃnea metropolitana. / In recent years, tourism present itself as a multifaceted phenomenon and globalized character. Thurs, tourism has several spatial aspects about their dynamics from the regional characteristicas (differentiation and qualities of places, given the natural physiology as urban dynamics) as the metroplitan aspectis (infrastructure concentrationa, urban and commercial services) or for aspectis city-tour (locations that are State and the private sector). Thus, the research was based on three steps: a)the first, mapping; the second involves the construction fo statistical database (in some cases, geo-referenced) on the addressed States and overall, the Northeast, and finally, the third, is characterized by theoretical and practical socio-sapatial construction. And how in fact, to understand the Brazilia Northeast (as a region and as a space formed from their agentes) need to understand the regiona and metropolitan issues. Because it is from these dynamics that tourism prsents itself as an economic activity widespread and planned by the Govermment and the privat sector in various locations in the Northeast. It is from this regional-metropolitan dynamics that mainly will cover the cities of JoÃo importance fo metropolitan aspects (form cites close to them)as the regional dynamics (wit speech and investments aimed at the Brazilian Northesast). From the regional and through tourism is differentiated and unevenly, following the webs of political and economic relations existing in the actual construction of the Northeast. In other words, govemment tourism policcie in its consolidation of the Northeast. INf other words, govermment tourism policies in its consolidation, promote existing spatial inequalities - and at the same time crating neu ones - in the Brazilian Northeast.
