Se realizó un estudio instrumental con el objetivo de analizar las propiedades psicométricas del Cuestionario de Relación (Batholomew & Horowitz, 1991) en una muestra 441 jóvenes y adultos (33.8% hombres y 66.2% mujeres) entre 18 y 45 años (M = 25.1; DE = 5.5) residentes en Lima. Como parte del análisis de estructura interna, mediante análisis factorial por Ejes Principales y rotación Varimax, se hallaron dos factores que explicaron 30.26% de la varianza. Para la validez convergente las puntuaciones de las dimensiones Ansiedad y Evitación del CR y del Cuestionario de Experiencia de Pareja (Brennan, Clark & Shaver, 1998) obtuvieron correlaciones aceptables (r > .40). Además, los estilos de apego Preocupado y Temeroso del CR correlacionaron con Ansiedad y Evitación del CEP, y el estilo Seguro correlacionó con Evitación. Los cuatro estilos de apego obtuvieron confiabilidad aceptable (test-retest) (ICC > .40). Por lo tanto, se concluye que el Cuestionario de Relación presenta propiedades psicométricas aceptables para medir apego en la muestra de estudio. / An instrumental study was carried out with the objective of analyzing the psychometric properties of the Relationship Questionnaire (Batholomew & Horowitz, 1991) in a sample of 441 young people and adults (33.8% men and 66.2% women) between 18 and 45 years old (M = 25.1; DE = 5.5) residents in Lima. As part of the internal structure analysis using factor analysis by Main Axes and Varimax rotation, two factors were found that explained the 30.26% of the variance. For convergent validity, the scores of the Anxiety and Avoidance dimensions of the RQ and the Experience in Close Relationship Questionnaire (Brennan, Clark & Shaver, 1998) obtained acceptable correlations (r> .40). In addition, RQ's Preoccupied and Fearful attachment styles correlated with ECR Anxiety and Avoidance, and Secure style correlated with Avoidance. The four attachment styles obtained acceptable reliability (test-retest) (ICC> .40). Therefore, it is concluded that the Relationship Questionnaire presents acceptable psychometric properties to measure attachment in the study sample. / Tesis
