Orientador: Armando Pereira Antônio / Resumo: Sob a luz da Ciência Geográfica, sendo estruturado em três capítulos, o texto da presente pesquisa aborda a "Ação da Cidadania Contra a Fome, a Miséria e Pela Vida no Território Brasileiro (1992/1997)". O primeiro capítulo discorre sobre "As origens da Ação da Cidadania Contra a Fome, a Miséria e Pela Vida" a partir do "Impeachment" do primeiro Presidente da República eleito diretamente pela população brasileira depois da Ditadura Militar iniciada em 1964, bem como a partir, também, da publicação do Mapa da Fome do IPEA. O capítulo dois deste texto da Tese de Doutorado aborda as "Estratégias Políticas à Curto Prazo" - as chamadas Ações Emergenciais no Espaço Social Brasileiro. Por sua vez, o capítulo três discorre a respeito das "Estratégias Políticas de Longo Prazo", em que se enfatiza por grande parte das lideranças dos comitês em funcionamento, a necessidade de procurar ações verdadeiramente estruturais. Uma grande pergunta vai acompanhar o desenrolar deste trabalho de pesquisa ligado a Ciência Geográfica: É realmente possível o trabalho coletivo de atores sociais tão díspares tendo como único elo de ligação a unidade ética em torno da Luta Contra a Fome e a Miséria, em favor da conquista de mais Cidadania para a População Brasileira? Como síntese para a Ciência Geográfica, pode-se afirmar que nosso tempo assiste a uma "gestação da consciência" que se acelera com a pluralidade, a publicização e a multiplicação de novos fazeres políticos - os quais com erros e acertos! - respondem pela valorização política das noções de Cidadania, Ética, Responsabilidade, Solidariedade e Democracia. / Abstract: Under the light of the Geographical Science, being structured in three chapters, the text of the present research approaches the "Action of the Citizenship Against the Hunger, the Misery and For the Life in the Brazilian Territory (1992/1997)". The first is about "The origins of the Action of the Citizenship Against the Hunger, Misery and for the Life" from the "Impeachment" of the first President of the Republic elected directly by the Brazilian population after the Military Dictatorship started in 1964, as well as from the publication of the Map of the Hunger of IPEA. The chapter 02 of this text of the Thesis of Doctorate approaches the "Political Strategies the short term" - the calls Emergency Actions in the Brazilian Social Space. Chapter 03 in turn is about the "Long Term Political Strategies", in which, it's emphasized by the majority of the committee leaderships in operation, the necessity of searching for real structural actions. A great question will accompany the development of this research related to Geographical Science: Is it really possible the collective work of such distint social actors, having as the only connection link the ethical unit around the Fight Against the Hunger and the Poverty, in favor of the conquest of more Citizenship for the Brazilian Population? As synthesis for the Geographical Science, it can be affirmed that our time attends a "gestation of the conscience" that accelerates with the plurality, the publicizing and the multiplication of new political doings - the ones which with mistakes and successes! - which account for answers for the political valuation of the notions of Citizenship, Ethics, Responsibility, Solidarity and Democracy. / Doutor
