Orientador: Sueli Terezinha Ferrero Martin / Resumo: O presente trabalho entende a adolescência como fenômeno histórico e social, em que é compreendida como uma etapa no desenvolvimento construída pelo homem como fato social e psicológico, que tem suas repercussões na subjetividade e no desenvolvimento humano. Avanços na proposição de políticas públicas de saúde mental voltadas para crianças e adolescentes ocorreram nas últimas décadas, porém há um longo caminho a se percorrer. Com esse entendimento, abordaremos o tema a partir dos subsídios teóricos e metodológicos da Psicologia Sócio-Histórica. Neste sentido, portanto, têm-se como objetivos: compreender as necessidades de cuidado em saúde mental de jovens atendidos em uma unidade básica de saúde (UBS) com equipe de saúde da família, na perspectiva dos trabalhadores do serviço, bem como identificar os recursos utilizados pelos trabalhadores da equipe para a abordagem desta população. Pretende-se também identificar a relação entre a UBS e a rede de atenção em saúde mental no município quanto ao atendimento dos adolescentes. Participaram deste estudo dez trabalhadores de saúde vinculados à unidade. Foram realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas. Os resultados obtidos foram analisados de acordo com o método e as categorias da Psicologia Sócio-Histórica e, assim sendo, as análises foram realizadas a partir da palavra com significado, organizando-se "núcleos de significação" a saber, Porque nada substitui aquele exemplo, porque nossos pais são nossos espelhos; Você tenta ir conversa... (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: The present work interprets adolescence as a historic and social phenomenon, in which is understood as stage in the development built by men as a social and psychological fact, which has its repercussions in subjectivity and human development. Advancements in propositions of public policies of Mental Health focused on children and teenagers have taken place in the last decades, but there’s a long way ahead. Along with that understanding, we’ll approach the theme from theoretical and methodological subsidies of the Social-Historical Psychology. In this respect, however, we have as goals: understand the necessity of care in mental health of young people attended in a healthcare center (UBS) with health staff of the family, in the perspective of service workers, as well as identifying the resources used by the staff members so as to approach these people. It also aims to identify the relationship between the healthcare center (UBS) and the attention network in Mental Health in the municipality regarding the attendance of teenagers. Ten health workers linked to the unit have taken part in this study. Semi-structured interviews were made and transcribed in full.
