Orientador: Paulo Eduardo Teixeira / Banca: / Resumo: A pesquisa tem como objetivo compreender o processo histórico dos cinemas de rua na cidade de Marília, bem como sua formação, em âmbito municipal, entre os anos de 1927, quando surge o primeiro cinema, a 2000, com o fechamento definitivo do último cinema de rua, priorizando relatos orais de pessoas que estiveram envolvidas com esse processo, documentos oficiais de uma historiografia presente nos registros históricos, e jornais na cidade de Marília. O acesso e o trabalho entre relatos orais e historiografia dos vencedores possibilitaram compreender como o processo de desenvolvimento cultural ligado aos cinemas de rua alavancou a cidade de maneira pioneira com os festivais de cinema, a criação do prêmio Curumim e funcionamento do Cine Clube, ativo desde 1952 e, ao mesmo tempo, deixou de ser valorizado, mergulhando em esquecimento. O estudo visou evidenciar a possibilidade de uma "sociologia das ausências" ao assumir a voz de acontecimentos não explorados e "feitos esquecidos" na conjuntura social da cidade de Marília por meio da memória. Diante desse cenário, pudemos problematizar a historiografia dada como oficial, o processo de fundação da cidade em conjunto com o cultivo do café, o poder e a história a partir dos olhos dos vencedores que ainda se faz presente em uma política elitista e patriarcal, tal como nos anos de sua fundação em 1930. / Abstract: The research aims to understand the process and history of street cinemas in Marilia city and its formation in the municipal level, between 1927 when the first cinema appears up until 2000 with the permanent closure of the last street cinema, prioritizing oral accounts of people who were involved with this process, official documents of this history in Historical Records and newspapers in the city of Marilia. Access and work between oral histories and historiography of the winners has enabled us to understand how the cultural development process linked to street cinemas leveraged the city of pioneering way with the film festivals, the creation of the Curumim award and running of the Cine Clube, active since 1952 and at the same time no longer valued, sinking into oblivion. The study aimed to highlight the possibility of "sociology of absences" by taking the voice of unplanned events and "forgotten facts" in the social context of the city of Marília through memory. In this scenario we discuss the historiography given as official, the foundation process of the city together with the coffee cultivation, power and history from the eyes of the winner is still present in an elitist and patriarchal politics, as in years of its foundation in 1930. / Mestre
