Orientador: Luciana Aparecida Nogueira da Cruz / Banca: Raul Aragão Martins / Banca: Telma Pileggi Vinha - / Resumo: O clima escolar pode ser entendido como um conjunto de percepções referente à instituição de ensino, desse modo, evidenciam os fatores relacionados à organização, as estruturas pedagógicas e administrativas e das relações interpessoais que ocorrem no meio escolar. Logo, conhecer as percepções dos diferentes atores da instituição propicia à escola conhecer melhor a realidade e, assim, propor intervenções efetivas. O objetivo central dessa pesquisa foi investigar as características do clima escolar percebidas pelos integrantes da instituição escolar (alunos, professores e gestores). Os objetivos específicos foram: i) verificar as percepções de alunos, professores e gestores sobre as diferentes dimensões/aspectos de sua escola; ii) verificar as percepções entre os integrantes das quatros escolas. O método adotado é do tipo descritivo e quanto a natureza dos dados é quantitativa e correlacional. Os instrumentos são questionários compostos por itens que avaliam as percepções dos sujeitos a respeito das dimensões que constituem o clima e que foram construídos de acordo com a realidade das escolas brasileiras. As dimensões avaliadas dizem respeito à: ensino e a aprendizagem; as relações sociais e os conflitos; as regras, sanções e a segurança na escola; as situações de intimidação; a família, a escola e a comunidade; a infraestrutura e a rede física da escola; as relações com o trabalho e a gestão e participação. Os questionários foram respondidos por 1031 estudantes do 7º, 8º e 9º... / Abstract: The school climate can be understood as a set of perceptions regarding the educational institution, thereby, evidence the factors related to the organization, the pedagogical and administrative structures and the interpersonal relationships that occur in the school environment. Therefore, knowing the perceptions of the different institution's actors propitiates the school to know better the reality and, thus, to propose effective interventions. The main objective of this research was to investigate the characteristics of the school climate perceived by the members of the school institution (students, teachers and managers). The specific objectives were: i) to verify the perceptions of students, teachers and managers about the different dimensions / aspects of their school; ii) to verify the perceptions among the members of the four schools. The method adopted is descriptive and the nature of the data is quantitative and correlational. The instruments are questionnaires composed of items that evaluate the subjects' perceptions regarding the dimensions that constitute the climate and that were constructed according to the reality of the Brazilian schools. The dimensions assessed relate to: teaching and learning; social relations and conflicts; rules, sanctions and safety at school; intimidation; the family, the school and the community; the infrastructure and physical network of the school; relations with work and management; and management and participation.
