Betygsskillnader på Kallingeskolan : Ett attitydproblem?

It’s not a new occurrence that girls have higher certificate than boys. The statistic shows the same at school of Kallinge in Ronneby. There is a great difference between boys and girls in their certificate from the ninth class. There are many different factors that affect the pupils. We chose to do an investigation about attitudes in school. We interviewed seven pupils and asked them questions about their background, their current situation in school, certificate and their future. We found out that the family and the social background was important for their attitudes and their choice in the future regarding education, occupation and where they choose to reside. We could also see that friends had an important impact to each other. There must be a balance between your own and others expectations.
