Det är viktigt med väl utförd planering för att ett byggprojekt ska gå smidigt och stå färdigt inom utsatt tid. Det är också viktigt för att hålla utsatt budget, så att det inte tillkommer onödiga och oväntade kostnader. Ju senare ett fel upptäcks, desto dyrare är det att rätta till, många gånger dyrare än om det upptäcks i ett tidigt skede innan byggstart. Det är förarbetet och projekteringen som sätter alla förutsättningar för bygget. Ett bristfälligt förfrågningsunderlag kan få stora konsekvenser för slutsumman i ett projekt, och detta examensarbete har som avsikt att undersöka förfrågningsunderlag och kartlägga vilka brister som är vanligast och vilka som har störst påverkan på slutsumman. Målet har varit att skapa en förståelse och översikt över bristerna i ett förfrågningsunderlag hos läsaren. Med hjälp av en litteraturstudie kring ämnet har en intervju genomförts med väl genomtänkta frågor för att få så bra svar som möjligt på frågeställningen och kunna presentera ett bra resultat. I rapportens slut presenteras de vanligaste bristerna och vad de kan få för konsekvenser, och detta resultat diskuteras sedan och följs upp med en slutsats på hela arbetet. Resultatet av intervjuerna visade att det finns bristande förfrågningsunderlag, vilket genererar i onödiga kostnader. Detta är främst på grund av tillkommande ÄTA-arbeten och tvister som uppstår mellan de olika parterna. Dessa brister i förfrågningsunderlaget kan bero på att det inte lagts ner tillräckligt med tid och arbete i det tidiga respektive sena skedet av ett projekt. Det vill säga både vid skapandet av förfrågningsunderlaget och vid granskningen av ett avslutat projekt. / It is important to have well-planned planning for a construction project to go smoothly and be completed within the deadline. It is also important to keep exposed budget, so that there are no unnecessary and unexpected costs. The later an error is discovered, the more expensive it is to adjust, many times more expensive than if it's discovered early in the process of a project. It's the preparation and the projecting that sets all the prerequisites for the building. A lack of specifications in these contract documents may have major consequences for the total cost of a project, and this examination project aims to investigate the contract documents and identify the most common shortcomings and those that have the greatest impact on the total cost of a project. The aim has been to provide an understanding and overview of the shortcomings in these contract documents for the reader. With the help of a literature study on the subject, an interview has been conducted with well thought-out questions to get the best answers possible on the issue for this report and to present a good result. At the end of the report, the most common shortcomings and their consequences are presented, and this result is then discussed and followed up with a conclusion on the whole work. The results of the interviews showed that there is a lack of specifications in contract documents, which generates unnecessary costs. These are mainly additional contract changes and disputes that arise between the various parties. These shortcomings in the specifications may be due to the fact that no time has been spent in the early and late stages of a project. That is to say in the preparation of the contract documents and in the examination of a completed project.
