This study has examined how the Soviet Union has been portrayed in digital educational material in Sweden. Since similar studies has been done on history textbooks, the study also compared the result with previous studies in order to see how the portrayal might have change during the years. The study shows that the main change is that the digital format is able to contain more content than the former textbooks. However, there are little change in how the Soviet Union is portrayed compared to the later textbooks. As a future teacher, it is important to be aware of the material we choose to teach our students in matter of explicit and implicit values conveyed from the educational material.
