Eftersom läromedelsgranskning inte längre görs av staten, utan urvalet av läromedel i svenskämnet avgörs numera på skolorna, kan vilket läromedel som helst användas i dagens undervisning. Det ställer höga krav på skolorna att läromedel som används är anpassat till dagens kursplaner. Syftet med studien är att granska läromedlet Zick Zack Skrivrummet utifrån den avsiktsförklaring författarna har och diskutera resultatet i förhållande till den genrepedagogiska teorin. Denna studie baseras på en kvalitativ hermeneutisk brukstextgranskning med kvantitativa inslag och de teorier som använts i studien för att förstå resultaten är den sociokulturella teorin samt den genrepedagogiska teorin. Zick Zack Skrivrummet bygger på genrepedagogik och ”cirkelmodellen” som arbetsmetod och är utarbetad utifrån kursplanerna i ämnet svenska och svenska som andraspråk i Läroplan för grundskolan, förskoleklassen och fritidshemmet 2011, Lgr 11. Resultatet visar att Zick Zack Skrivrummet är anpassad efter Lgr11 och behandlar alla sex texttyper ur kursplanen. Med hjälp av cirkelmodellen som arbetsmetod lär sig eleverna att planera och skriva olika typer av texter och resultatet visar även att innehållet så som arbetsuppgifter i elevboken är oförändrad sedan den utkom 2011. / The Swedish state does not longer decide the selection of teaching materials used at schools. Today, the teachers select by themselves which teaching material that should be used in Swedish schools. Which means that the content in the textbooks doesn’t need to be adapted for a particular syllabus. The aim of this study is to review the content in a textbook, called Zick Zack Skrivrummet, based on the intentions the authors have and discuss the outcome in relation to the theory of genrepedagogy. This study is based on a qualitative method with quantitative elements with a hermeneutic interpretation. The socio-cultural theory as well as genre pedagogy has been used in this study to understand the result. Zick Zack Skrivrummet is based on genre pedagogy and “the curriculum circle” and is adapted to the Swedish syllabus. The study shows that the textbook is adapted to Lgr11 and contains all six different texttypes. Working with “the curriculum circle” in the textbook, the students is getting better at planning and writing different texttypes. The study also shows that the content in the textbook is still the same and have not been updated since it first was relesead in 2011.
