Att spendera tid på nätet är idag en självklar del av vardagen för unga. Samtidigt har sociala mediers genomslag bland barn dessvärre medfört en omfattande social problematik i form av risker att råka ut för bland annat kränkningar, trakasserier och sexuella övergrepp. Det här projektet har därför målet, att i uppdrag från företaget Lajks, designa en webbplats för barn i syfte att lära ut metoder för tryggare användning av internet och sociala medier. Syftet med arbetet är att utforska hur grafisk design för webben kan användas för socialt hållbar utveckling. Utifrån valda teorier och metoder har jag dragit slutsatsen att genom förebyggande kunskap och dialog om ämnet tas första steget för att nå målet om mer hållbara internetvanor för den unga generationen. / Spending time online is today a natural part of everyday life for children. At the same time, the use of social media among children has led to extensive social issues like being exposed to violations, harassment and sexual abuse. This project therefore has the goal to design a website for children to teach methods for safer use of the internet and social media. The purpose of the project is to explore how graphic design for the web can be used for socially sustainable development. Based on selected theories and methods, I have come to the conclusion that through knowledge and dialogue on the subject the first step is taken in order to reach the goal of more sustainable internet habits for the young generation.
