Sverigedemokrateran, från minsta till största : En kvalitativ argumentationsanalys med fokus på Sverigedemokraternas politiska utveckling

The Swedish democrats are experiencing more and more support, even though the history of the party is filled with racist and fascist thinking. Their politic is changing, but where is it going towards? To analyse this, the Swedish democrats’ political arguments are compared between 2011 and 2018, as well as debates from 2011 and 2020. This to establish how they have changed their arguments in their political programs and how they are portraying themselves in the Swedish parliament. This gives a picture of the Swedish democrat’s politics, a picture which will be placed next to the government offices normative view on certain subjects, these being immigration, culture, equality, the military and outside Sweden. With assistants from the theory the task at hand is to examine if the Swedish democrats are moving towards more normative politics and are indeed leaving their racist and fascist thoughts behind them.
