[pt] A presente pesquisa teve como objetivo principal conhecer o perfil da população atendida pelo Centro de Convivência da Família Pe. Vignola na cidade de Manaus, focalizando os desafios da entidade para assegurar a população atendida melhor qualidade de vida e inserção social. A pobreza e a exclusão social configuram-se como indicadores sociais que ocultam/revelam os que vivem submersos em uma sociedade que os desqualifica, cotidiano este vivenciado por milhões de pessoas no mundo inteiro. Esta realidade se faz dolorosamente presente no Brasil e na cidade de Manaus, onde o quadro de desigualdade e discriminação social têm se agravado, situação que tem exigido dos governantes a implementação de políticas públicas de assistência social para as camadas mais pobres da sociedade, inserindo-se neste contexto os Centros de Convivência das Famílias. Constata-se que o Centro de Convivência da Família Pe. Vignola oferece condições para o atendimento adequado das famílias. Estas se sentem reconhecidas, tratadas com respeito e ouvidas em suas reivindicações por uma equipe multidisciplinar. Observa-se, no entanto, a falta de definição de uma linha de recursos e de melhoria na infra-estrutura da instituição, o que dificulta a ampliação da oferta de serviços, fator imprescindível diante da demanda crescente atual. / [en] This study aimed at knowing the profile of the population served by the Family Living Center Fr Vignola in Manaus, focusing on the challenges of the entity to ensure the population served better quality of life and social inclusion. Poverty and social exclusion are characterized as social indicators that hide / show those who live immersed in a society that disqualifies them, this experienced daily by millions of people worldwide. This reality becomes painfully present in Brazil and in the city of Manaus, where the inequality and social discrimination has aggravated the situation that has required the government to implement public policies of social assistance for the poorest sections of society, by inserting in this context the Social Centers for Families. It appears that the Family Living Center Fr Vignola offers conditions for the proper care of their families. They feel recognized, treated with respect and in their claims heard by a multidisciplinary team. There is, however, the lack of definition of an online resource and improving the infrastructure of the institution, which hinders the expansion of supply of services, an essential factor in the face of growing demand today.
