[pt] Ao caminharmos pelas grandes cidades do mundo testemunhamos diversas manifestações nas suas superfícies, são elas a pichação, o grafite e desdobramentos de seu universo artístico. A presente dissertação se situa na discussão acerca do papel dessas manifestações no espaço urbano, as suas possibilidades de quebra de ritmo do cotidiano das cidades, de sua expressão subversiva e de reprodução da lógica capitalista na urbe. Consideramos que essas intervenções urbanas têm em si a capacidade de desvelar as latentes contradições sociais espacializadas nas metrópoles, servindo como canal de comunicação dos sujeitos que a praticam com a sociedade urbana. / [en] As we walk through the great cities of the world we witness several manifestations on their surfaces, they are the pichação, the graffiti and unfolding of their artistic universe. The present dissertation is based on the discussion about the role of these manifestations in urban space, their possibilities of breaking the rhythm of the daily life in this cities, their subversive expression and the reproduction of capitalist logic in the city. We consider that these urban interventions have in themselves the capacity to unveil the latent social contradictions that are spatialized in the metropolises, serving as a communication channel of the subjects who practice it with urban society.
