[pt] A relação entre a Igreja e o Mundo é um tema sempre pertinente ao estudo teológico em sua dimensão sistemático-pastoral. A presente tese se debruça sobre essa temática para investigar como essa relação acontece nos processos evangelizadores da Igreja Presbiteriana em Santa Teresa (IP-ST), uma comunidade eclesiasticamente jurisdicionada a Igreja Presbiteriana do Brasil (IPB), uma denominação cristã de tradição reformada. A partir da análise dos processos evangelizadores dessa comunidade eclesial, verificou-se as percepções da sua membresia quanto ao resultado da evangelização operada pelos processos verificados. Percepções que concebem dualistamente a relação Igreja-Mundo, isto é, uma leitura em chave de oposição. Esses resultados foram submetidos ao escrutínio da reflexão teológico-missionária de Lesslie Newbigin, um teólogo de tradição presbiteriana, e José Comblin, um teólogo de tradição católica. Procurou-se compreender com esses dois autores concebiam a relação Igreja-Mundo e, diante da avaliação dos dados alcançados na pesquisa de campo, propor um modelo de ação evangelizadora que conceba a relação Igreja-Mundo numa chave de compreensão integradora. A proposta apresentada por esta tese é de uma evangelização que supere a dicotomia presente na teologia e práxis das Igrejas cristãs, como verificado e demonstrado neste trabalho, visando um mais efetivo anúncio do Evangelho para o cumprimento do mandato missionário da Igreja. / [en] The relationship between the Church and the World is always relevant to theological study in its systematic and pastoral dimension. The present thesis focuses on this theme to investigate how this relationship happens in the evangelizing processes of the Presbyterian Church in Santa Teresa [Igreja Presbiteriana em Santa Teresa (IP-ST)], an ecclesiastically constituted community of the Presbyterian Church of Brazil [Igreja Presbiteriana do Brasil (IPB)], a Christian denomination of Reformed tradition. From the analysis of the evangelizing processes of this ecclesial community, the perceptions of its membership were verified as to the result of the evangelization operated by the verified processes. Perceptions that dualistically conceive the Church-World relationship, that is, a key opposition reading. These results were subjected to the scrutiny of the theological-missionary reflection of Lesslie Newbigin, a theologian of Presbyterian tradition, and Joseph Comblin, a theologian of Catholic tradition. We sought to understand with these two authors the Church-World relationship and, in view of the evaluation of the data obtained in field research, propose a model of evangelizing action that conceives the Church-World relationship in a key of integrating understanding. The proposal presented by this thesis is an evangelization that overcomes the dichotomy present in the theology and praxis of the Christian Churches, as verified and demonstrated in this work, aiming at a more effective proclamation of the Gospel for the fulfilment of the missionary mandate of the Church.
