[pt] O presente estudo oferece um quadro de observação da obra
narrativa de Nelson
Rodrigues no que concerne às características que a
impulsionaram e que a atribui um
status de modernidade. Nelson Rodrigues se afirmaria como
artista, pintor da vida
moderna do Rio de Janeiro da década de 1950 por
desenvolver um estilo de
composição onde sensação e percepção se misturam num jogo
polissêmico e
caleidoscópico, onde a linguagem se configura como marca
trágica das relações,
identificando a singularidade da modernidade carioca por
estar situada entre dois pólos,
estabelecendo um jogo entre a própria tradição e a
modernidade. A visão fragmentária
e ao mesmo tempo unificadora de Nelson Rodrigues confere a
ele o lugar de homem
de seu tempo, pois consegue, pela sua lente de contista e
cronista captar o momento
presente, elevando-o de uma posição caracteristicamente
efêmera a uma situação de
permanência como algo que se instaura no interior da alma
humana, ou que dela já faz
parte desde os tempos imemoriais, mitológicos. O escritor
representaria um
personagem significativo da história cultural do Rio de
Janeiro, construindo ele mesmo
um painel da cidade através de seus tipos típicos, seus
lugares de convivência, de
moradia e trabalho, e marcando a vida na cidade pelas
relações pautadas no binômio
amor e morte. / [en] This piece of work has as a prior concern to call attention to Nelson Rodrigues
narrative work in relation to the characteristics which gave way to his work as well as
provides him with a modernity status. Nelson Rodrigues settled himself as an artist,
showing the modern life of Rio de Janeiro in the 50 s, by developing a style in which
sensation and perception were mixed as in a polyssemic kaleidoscopic game, where
language is stablished as a tragic flaw of relations, identifying the singularity of Rio s
modernity for being situated between two poles, setting a game between its own
tradition and modernity. The fragmented and united view of Nelson Rodrigues place
him as A man of his time, as he is able to reach, trough his narrative and columnist
point of view, the present moment, taking him from a position typically ephemeral to a
permanent one as something that remains in the human soul, or that takes part of it
since the immemorial mythological times.The writer would represent a significant
character of Rio s cultural history, building himself the city s view trough its typical
citizens, the places they live, work and hang out, setting the city s life trough the
relations based in love and death.
