[pt] Esta dissertação tem como objetivo investigar a relação da
criança com o
consumo, partindo de suas interações entre si e com os
adultos, e da observação
das suas práticas culturais, numa escola pública situada
na zona norte do Rio de
Janeiro. No primeiro capítulo, são apresentadas as
questões metodológicas que
nortearam a construção do olhar da pesquisadora e a
concepção de infância e de
criança que a acompanhou durante todo o processo de
escrita deste trabalho. No
segundo capítulo, é traçado um panorama teórico trazendo
os autores que
ajudaram a pensar sobre infância, práticas culturais e
consumo, fazendo um
diálogo com as falas das crianças que emergiram do campo.
No terceiro e último
capítulo, são descritas situações provocadas pela
pesquisadora no intuito de
compreender melhor questões que foram surgindo ao longo do
caminho. Ao final,
é feita uma análise do papel da escola e de situações que
mostram como a
publicidade tem invadido o espaço escolar. / [en] This essay investigates the relation between the children
and consumption,
starting from the interactions between them and between
the adults, as well as the
observation of their cultural practices in a public school
in the North Zone of the
city of Rio de Janeiro. The first chapter presents the
methodological issues that
guided the researcher`s point of view and her conception
of childhood through
the entire writing process of this study. In the second
chapter, its outlined a
theoretical overview bringing the authors who helped
thinking over childhood,
cultural practices and consumption, performing a dialogue
with the children`s
speech which emerged during the observations.On the third
and last chapter, it is
described a situation provoked by the researcher aiming at
better understanding
issues which came along in the process. At last, an
analysis is given of the school
role and of situations that show how publicity has invaded
the School.
