The dissertation deals with an enterprise content management system (ECM). It is divided into two larger parts, theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, the author describes a lifecycle of enterprise applications and an enterprise content management system. The practical part focuses on analysing the current state and proposing a call for the tender for the supply of the information system.

This thesis explores the missional ecclesiology of the Emerging Church Movement and its relationship to Evangelicalism. The rise of post-Christendom, post-modernism and the increasing marginalisation of the church in Western Culture has created a situation where it needs to ask the basic missiological questions of its own identity and structures. In contrast to many within traditional Evangelicalism, the Emerging Church Movement views these changes as a positive development and, in a social context much more akin to that of the early church, an opportunity to rediscover the essential nature of its calling as Church. It is in a narrative reading of Scripture and understanding of Jesus' proclamation of the kingdom of God that the ECM believes the answers are to be found. As a result, the ECM finds itself working through a gradual process of dismantling and reconstructing the faith of their Evangelical heritage as they reflect on the meaning of the gospel as they see it expressed in the life and ministry of Jesus Christ and His interpretation of the Old Testament narrative. For the ECM, the gospel is much bigger than merely personal salvation and is best understood as God's great and gracious mission in the world of making new all that has been corrupted by sin and evil. Missional churches realise that they have been invited to participate with God in his redemptive mission and formulate their identity, structures and values accordingly. Interconnection between various types of IT systems used in an enterprise is crucial in these days. Most of companies are using many different kinds of applications in their daily running of the enterprise which leads to necessity of sharing data across those applications to enable all employees to make a right decision upon correct information. In my diploma thesis I deal with interconnection of two systems -- Business Process Management (BPM) and Business Intelligence (BI). Both systems belong to group of top IT systems with big influence on ongoing business and right decision making on all levels from operational to strategic. My paper contains theoretical as well as practical part of the solution for interconnection of BI and BPM systems. First part is about presenting and describing basic concepts and technologies which are used in process of integration of BI and BPM. At the beginning there is a short introduction to BPM, BI and SOA. Following part is including analysis of three major ways of interconnection between BI and BPM systems. Last part of the first theoretical section presents two products. IBM FileNet P8 representative of BPM system and IBM Cognos 8 BI as a representative of BI system. Second part deals with the practical example of real integration between BI and BPM systems. In first part of this section is simple description of the scenario -- business case. After that there is a detail depiction of two different kinds of integration of BI and BPM. Analysis of benefits, advantages and further possibilities are at the end of work.

The objective of this thesis is to provide a survey of document digitalization and to analyse the market of companies outsourcing the document digitalization. The first part of the thesis decribes the technology of scannig and the methods of document recognition and data minig. It also decribes the systems of barcodes used to identify documents. Furthermore, this thesis includes the principles of document saving and electronic (digital) signature issues from the viewpoint of Czech legislation. Its contribution lies in analysing the companies dealing with outsourcing of the document digitalization and in the view of a company using these services. A brief outlook to the future regarding this topic is included as well.

This study was motivated by low rates of economic growth and insufficient investment in infrastructure to balance infrastructure backlogs and growth that the South African economy has been facing in recent years. The main objective of the study is to examine the impact of disaggregated government investment and consumption spending on economic growth in South Africa using the Auto-Regressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) technique and Error Correction Model (ECM). Annual time series data spanning the period 1983– 2017 was employed. Earlier studies conducted in South Africa measured the impact of aggregated government expenditure on economic growth using different methodologies, including estimating procedures, model specifications and time frames. To the best of our knowledge, this paper is the first to study the effect of disaggregated government investment spending on the South African economy. This study, therefore, examines the disaggregated government spending on education, health, defence and social protection along with other control variables. The ARDL cointegration test result indicates the existence of a long-run relationship between the variables. The estimated ECM model reveals that the short-run impact of each explanatory variable is significant in explaining changes in economic growth in South Africa. These results will enable the spheres of government to formulate and adjust economic development policies that will produce the needed economic growth in line with the radical economic transformation programme in South Africa. / Economics / M. Diploma thesis deals with project management methodology and its application into enterprise environment. The theoretical part describes exact methods of project management and it’s standards and structure. The analytical part describes the situation in company A.S., its corporate structure and the methodology used by management. The practical part follows the previous chapters, describes project management according to the chosen methodology and the results are interpreted both in terms of project success and as compared to the existing methodology.

The thesis analyzes the area of enterprise content management (ECM), identifies its relation to other business applications and defines various stages of the life cycle of documents. It also describes individual components of ECM, including the technologies covering these components. A tool for managing and storing documents (DMS) in ABC company is presented in more detail in the practical part. The Exact Synergy Enterprise software demonstrates its advantages and disadvantages affecting document management and operational problems that this kind of software may carry.
