This choice becomes extremely complex and expensive due to a variety of products available that offer features and attributes that while delivery facilities requires more and more services to its permanent update. In the choice process it is necessary to consider all the desired and offered functional requirements in each product so that this choice will consider the best possible technical and professional conditions of each Portal to be developed. This research shows the to development of a methodology and a system for decision support in this assessment and choice, considering many options as subjective, technical and usability criteria. A case study is presented for the construction and maintenance of a university portal. / Sistemas de Gerenciamento de Conteúdos (Content Management Systems CMS) são ferramentas essenciais para o desenvolvimento e manutenção de portais corporativos e educacionais, e sua escolha criteriosa é fundamental para o sucesso e a atualização destas verdadeiras centrais de informações, imprescindíveis hoje em dia. Esta escolha tornou-se uma tarefa extremamente complexa e dispendiosa devido à grande diversidade de produtos disponíveis que oferecem características e atributos que, ao mesmo tempo, oferecem facilidades e requerem muito serviço para sua permanente atualização. No processo de escolha é necessário considerar todos os requisitos funcionais desejados e oferecidos em cada produto para que esta escolha venha a atender da melhor forma possível às condições técnicas e profissionais de cada portal a ser desenvolvido. Esta pesquisa apresenta o desenvolvimento de uma metodologia e um sistema para apoio à decisão nessa avaliação e escolha, considerando múltiplas opções, ou critérios tanto técnicos quanto subjetivos e de usabilidade. Um estudo de caso é apresentado para a construção e manutenção de um portal universitário.

[pt] O crescimento da internet trouxe um aumento rápido na quantidade de informações dos sites, que circulam de forma cada vez mais dinâmica. Por isso, muitas empresas estão utilizando sistemas de gerenciamento e publicação de conteúdo (CMS) para gerenciá-las. Porém, a reutilização desses sistemas em outro contexto, que não o original, pode ocasionar problemas de usabilidade, comprometendo a sua eficácia e a satisfação do usuário, problema da pesquisa. Para identificar os problemas e disponibilizar recomendações que possam facilitar a interação entre os sistemas de gerenciamento de conteúdo e seus usuários, esta pesquisa tem como objetivo específico realizar uma avaliação ergonômica no Gutenberg, sistema de gerenciamento e publicação de conteúdo, através de entrevistas e testes de usabilidade com usuários da Faperj - Fundação Carlos Chagas Filho de Amparo a Pesquisa do Estado do Rio de Janeiro e profissionais da Winco - empresa responsável pelo desenvolvimento do sistema. Para fazer a análise dos resultados obtidos através das técnicas de pesquisa, foram utilizados os critérios ergonômicos de Nielsen, Bastien e Scapin, comprovando a hipótese de que os ajustes necessários para a aplicação do sistema de publicação de conteúdo em outro contexto podem ocasionar problemas de usabilidade, dificultando a utilização e manutenção do site pelos usuários que utilizam o sistema As recomendações geradas por esta pesquisa, resultado das sugestões dos usuários em conjunto com o pesquisador durante o processo de avaliação do sistema, são direcionadas ao contexto analisado. Porém, podendo servir como referência para outros sistemas do mesmo segmento. / [en] The growth of the InterNet has caused larged increase in the amount of information on sites that run in a more and more dynamic way. Therefore, many companies have been using content management and publication systems (CMS) to manage it. However, the re-utilization of these systems in a context other, than the original one, may result in usability problems, compromising its efficiency and user´s satisfaction, the problem of this research. In order to identify the problems and provide recommendations that may facilitate the interaction between the content management and publication systems and its users, this research has as main objective to carry out an ergonomic evaluation of the Gutenberg system of management and publication of content, through interviews and usability tests carried out with users from Faperj - Fundação Carlos Chagas Filho de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado do Rio de Janeiro - and professionals from Winco - company responsible for the system´s development. In order to carry out the analysis of the results gathered through research techniques, the ergonomic criteria of Nielsen, Bastien and Scapin have been used, confirming the hypothesis that the adjustments necessary for the application of the content management and publication systems in another context may cause usability problems, making it hard for the users that utilize the system to implement and maintain the site. The recommendations brought about by this research, result of the users´ suggestions together with the researcher´s over the process of evaluation of the system, are directed to the context analyzed. However, it may also be of use as a reference to for other systems of the same segment.

Developer guidelines for e-commerce sites derived through benchmarks

E-handelslösningar tillhandahåller inköpsfunktioner för användare på produkter online, men Internetanvändare är känsliga för förseningar. Användare ser webbplatsens laddningstid egenskap. Användarna är även känsliga för kognitiv laddningstid, vilket har att göra med upplevda estetik av en webbplats och mentala modeller som skapas från tidigare interaktion med webbplatser. Omfattningen av examensarbetet är att fyra e-handels content management system (CMSs) jämförs i denna avhandling att se vilka utför med den lägsta sidan laddningstid. dessa är Magento, Drupal med commerce, Wordpress med woocommerce och Joomla med Hikashop. Alla CMS förvandlas till liknande design baserat på en universell tema, med hjälp av twitter bootstrap ramverket. Designen är baserad på tidigare forskning för användarnas mentala modeller för e-handel webbplatser. En fullt fungerande fiktiv plats Fastcommerce utvecklas på dessa fyra CMS. CMSn är fyllda med en kategori sida identiska prov elektroniska produkter (12 artiklar). Produkterna har bilder och lorem ipsum text. Metoden för examensarbetet är experiment. Experimenten utförs för att hitta den sida laddningstid på en lokal miljö. Resultaten visar tydliga resultatförbättringar på alla fyra CMSs efter tillämpade optimeringar. Men några av de optimeringar orsakar negativakonsekvenser prestanda. / E-commerce solutions are providing purchasing capabilities to users on products online, but Internet users are sensitive to delays. In-fact users see page load time as a website feature. Users are also sensitive to cognitive load time, which has to do with perceived aesthetics of a website and mental models which are created from previous interaction with websites.The scope of the thesis is that four commerce content management systems (CMSs) are compared in this thesis to find out which performs with the lowest page load time. These are Magento, Drupal with commerce, Wordpress with woocommerce and Joomla with Hikashop. The CMSs are all pushed to a very similar website design based on one universal theme, using the twitter bootstrap mobile first responsive framework. The design is based on previousresearch of users mental models for e-commerce websites. A fully functional fictional site Fastcommerce is developed on the four CMSs. The CMSs are filled with one category page of identical sample electronic products (12 items). The products have images and lorem ipsum text. The method of the thesis are experiments. The experiments are conducted to find the page load time on a local environment. The results show clear performance improvements on all four CMSs after applied optimizations. But some of the optimizations cause negative performance consequences.

The theoretical part brings a thorough description of the latest online marketing trends. Moreover, it provides an insight into the latest trends in the website development. The chosen online marketing trends defined in the theoretical part are subsequently applied on a newly created website. All the steps taken throughout the process of creating the website together with the application of the latest trends are described in the practical part. The website is created gradually in the course of writing this thesis and only free online marketing tools are applied on this website. The effectiveness of the chosen online marketing trends is monitored and consequently analysed. The recommendations resulting from the analysis are provided at the end of the practical part. This thesis might serve as a guide for those who wish to create a website with the latest online marketing trends.
