This paper analyzes the demand for water in case of a multiple-part tariff in Denton, Texas. The model used is developed from Billing & Agthe's model by using the following variables: marginal price, difference variable, tax assessed value, lot size, house size, temperature and rainfall.. The results indicate that temperature has the greatest effect on water demand, since this area is considered to be a very warm area. Also, marginal price seems to have a strong effect on water consumption indicating that customer is well-informed to a change in rate schedule. This test supports the original idea of the previous articles that the coefficient on difference variable and that on income should have the opposite sign. However, this test can not prove that those coefficients should be equal in magnitude, since the proxy of the income variable can not represent the individual monthly income. In addition, this article introduces another variable which can be a proxy of outdoor water use. That is lot size showing the effect on water demand. The last variable used in the model, house size,does not have much effect on water demand and is dropped out in the final model.

Teoretická část se věnuje popisu základních pojmů a teoretických poznatků souvisejících s problematikou řízení projektů. Ve druhé části jsou provedeny analýzy současného stavu, udržitelnosti, marketingu a konkurence akce. Návrhy a příspěvky jsou diskutovány ve třetí části. Jednotlivé metody, modely a nástroje byly vybrány pro maximální využití v rámci tohoto konkrétního projektu.

The master thesis deals with the finance evaluation of funded organization Domov pro seniory Mikuláškovo náměstí. The aim of this work is the cost-benefit analysis and financial analysis of the organization and to make suggestions for improvement. The theoretical knowledge of the topic is summarized in the first part of this work while the next one focuses on the economic analysis. The last part concentrates on the submission of proposals for organization economy improvement.

This Master's thesis is focused on dealing with cost variances (deviations) and using of standard costing method. The main intent is to analyse current state and make an improvement proposal of focusing on variables in company which is producing server PCs. This thesis is divided into three parts, which are theroretical part, analytic part and proposal part. The theoretical part is focused on characteristics of controlling, costs, calculation methods, especially standard costing method and focusing on variances. In next two parts is made the analysis of current state and then are suggested some improvement proposals.

The diploma thesis deals with the topic of housing cost analysis. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the characteristics and development of the construction and real estate market, the description of development projects and their management, the prices in the construction industry as well as the budgets of the buildings. In the practical part of the thesis, I analyze the costs of a particular development project. I set the price according to the budget, I point out possible ways of lowering this price, compiling time-charts and also the financial plans of the project.
