Využití znalosti topologie páteřních sítí pro určování fyzické polohy stanic v síti Internet / Geolocation in Internet using network topologies

Dvořák, Filip January 2012 (has links)
The thesis discusses about modern geolocation methods and it describes the basic principles of their work. The work is divided into 2 parts - the theoretical one and the practical one. The first part of the thesis is focused on the description of these methods and on the explanation of its basic concepts which are used for determining of the physical position of the station according to its IP address. The second more extensive part of the work focuses on the description of the realization of algorithm in the Octant method in the programming language of Java and its use in the experimental net of PlanetLab. One important thing is to create a set of reference points and targets, which are necessary for the testing of the whole algorithm of the Octant Method. The results of estimated accuracy of target location obtained by the Octant method and their comparison with the results obtained by active methods of CBG, SOI and with the passive method of GeoIP are listed at the end of this work.

Android IP kamera / Android IP Camera

Chvála, Jan January 2015 (has links)
The goal of this thesis is to design a system which would allow video data streaming from a mobile device and real time playback using a standard web browser. The technological background and the implementation platform are both part of this thesis. Web Real Time Communications (WebRTC) technology was used for acquiring multimedia data on mobile device. This technology is natively supported in the latest major web browsers and in WebView component (Android version 5.0 and above). Sending push notifications from a server to a mobile device to start the streaming is done with Google Cloud Messaging technology. The resultant system allows a user to start the application on mobile device with easy web browser access. This starts the multimedia stream from device, which can be parametrized and secured by password. The benefit of this thesis is the overview of WebRTC technology and its demonstration. The IP camera implementation shows how easy it is to use the WebRTC in real applications.

Návrh architektury sondy pro monitorování síťových toků / Design of Probe for Flow Based Monitoring

Žádník, Martin Unknown Date (has links)
This thesis deals with the design and implementation of a monitoring probe intended for IP flow measurements in high-speed networks. The probe is based on commodity PC and network acceleration card. The monitoring process is partitioned between these two platforms. The thesis explores ways of mapping flow monitoring algorithms to hardware or software implementations. Several improvements are suggested to increase performance and functionality of the probe. Two level memory hierarchy increases the performance whereas autoconfiguration and adaptation of control parameters contribute to its robustness. The definition of variable flow-record allows to customize monitored statistics about the network. Analysis and simulations of proposed architecture indicate that the probe is suitable for monitoring of ten gigabit networks.

Cloud-Based Alerting System for IP-Telephony : A prototype development

Jakobsson, Per-Johan Simon January 2015 (has links)
An increasing number of people in Sweden are having problems with their hearing ability. The three major tools to aid hearing-impaired and deaf individuals are: hearing aids, special telephony, and alerting systems. Both hearing aids and telephony have seen a huge technical development. Hearing aids have gone from huge ponderous devices to small delicate in-ear devices. Simple text telephones have evolved into total conversation telephones with audio, video, and text all operating in real time. Although smart lamps and other alerting services not specifically made for hearing-impaired individuals do exist, the development of alerting system is unsatisfactory. The gap in technology is a huge problem and integration between modern products and alerting systems is getting harder. This thesis explores how to close this gap. The result of this thesis project is a prototype that provides the missing technological link between an alerting systems and modern smart devices. An eventual product should support all kinds of services, but the prototype is limited to solving the problem of connecting an alerting system to a modern total conversation telephones. The prototype was evaluated and based on the evaluation data a timeline was created. An overall positive response towards the product exists and the timeline had adding more third party services (such as Skype and FaceTime) as a high priority. The complete timeline as well as adding Signal Initiation Protocol support is left as future work.
