The aim of this work was to create a communication interface of standard ARINC Aerospace Industry Bus 429. The work has slightly outlined existing solutions, from which it can draw inspiration. Further analysis was performed, analysis of ARINC 429 bus, analysis of Raspberry Pi platform on which the solution will be built, and analysis of selected bus controller HI-3593. After that concept was created, based on concept was created the scheme contains circuitry HI-3593. On the basis of the scheme was created DPS. Next was created software for DPS. In the end of this work was tested abilities to receive and send messages on the bus ARINC 429.

The master's thesis is about a communication element - a hardware module, its design and implementation. The communication is to be maintained between a Linux embedded device and the sensors elements, using the MiWi protocol. The task is part of the IoT project, developed at FIT BUT. Furthermore, the paper describes design of a driver for the module, its likely solution, as well as the very implementation. Finally, the obtained experience is discussed in a summary, along the next step options on how to proceed further with the driver development.

This diploma thesis contains description and realization of smart home system SmartFlat. In the first part of the thesis is analysis of issue and listing of most common variants of home systems with examples. Further into the thesis is the description of parts of system SmartFlat, hardware solution of main unit and there are also explained core software functions of the system. At the end of this thesis are commented results of debugging and testing with real peripheral devices. Conclusion at the end includes brief summary of diploma thesis and commentary of achieved results.

Cieľom práce je nájsť optimálny hardvérový základ, na ktorom následne bude možné konfigurovať LTE modem a získať údaje o stave a kvalite pripojenia k sieti. Následne bude vykonaná séria testov za účelom zmerania parametrov siete a výsledky budú spracované k prezentácii na webovom serveri vo forme grafov.

This thesis examines a development process of a sample tube sorting machine, meant to serve in the university’s scientific workplace. This thesis follows an existing basic motion system. The thesis describes the function of the pneumatic components and their connection to the circuit necessary for carrying and placing the sample tubes. An important part of the thesis deals with designing the connection of a control unit, based on the Arduino and Raspbery Pi platforms. Such connection design consists of connecting the unit to the pneumatical sensors, switches and also the programming of the particular movement functions. Another part covers the ideas of potentional future development of the sorting machine.

El texto completo de este trabajo no está disponible en el Repositorio Académico UPC por restricciones de la casa editorial donde ha sido publicado. / It is known that 33% of traffic accidents worldwide are caused by drunk driving or drowsiness [1] [2], so a drowsiness level detection system that integrates image processing was developed with the use of Raspberry Pi3 with the OpenCV library; and sensors such as MQ-3 that measures the percentage of alcohol and the S9 sensor that measures the heart rate. In addition, it has an alert system and as an interface for the visualization of the data measured by the sensors a touch screen. With the image processing technique, facial expressions are analyzed, while physiological behaviors such as heart rate and alcohol percentage are measured with the sensors. In image test training you get an accuracy of x in a response time of x seconds. On the other hand, the evaluation of the operation of the sensors in 90% effective. This thesis is dedicated to exploring effective person counting using sensors, an important technology in areas such as space optimization. The main challenges in this field include issues with accuracy and reliability. The goal of this thesis is to explore and identify the most effective sensor type for counting individuals in a space. To address these problems, three main types of sensors were used: ultrasound, infrared, and laser. Each sensor was tested and the results show that ultrasound sensors generally had the highest reliability, although no sensor achieved complete accuracy. The study underscores the need for further development and the potential for combining technologies to enhance accuracy and reliability in person counting systems. / Denna uppsats ägnas åt undersökning av effektiv personräkning med hjälp av sensorer, en viktig teknik inom områden såsom optimering av lokalanvändning. Huvudproblemen inom området inkluderar utmaningar med noggrannhet och pålitlighet. Målet med denna uppsats är att undersöka och identifiera den mest effektiva sensortypen för personräkning i en lokal. För att lösa dessa problem användes tre huvudtyper av sensorer: ultraljud, infraröd och laser. Varje sensor testades och resultaten visar att ultraljudssensorer överlag hade högst pålitlighet, även om ingen av sensorerna uppnådde fullständig noggrannhet. Studien understryker behovet av vidare utveckling och potentialen för att kombinera tekniker för att förbättra noggrannheten och tillförlitligheten i personräkningssystem.

The aim of this thesis is to create a system, which draws the graphics with the help of a set laser project and eventually is able to synthetize several coloured rays and thus realise a multicolour drawing. The whole system is controlled by a Raspberry PI microcomputer and the data is sent to it from a PC via an Ethernet cable. The transmission of the projector device was identified and possible ways of improving the device were suggested. The results of this thesis allow creation of a multi-coloured vector picture, transferring it into the device and depiction on the project desktop. The whole device can therefore be used for example for the purpose of a presentation.

This thesis is about development and construction of systems for building automation. At the beginning it´s focused on usage of building automation. Short describe used topology of installation and available systems on the market. The second chapter is about designing of hardware’s elements systems. Then it’s describing control unit Raspberry Pi 3, microprocessors for communication and slave modules. For my thesis I am also engaged in interface communication and designing of I/O systems. The third and fourth chapter is describing software equipment’s of the system. The parts of microprocessor firmware and manner of control logic creating and visualization in control unit module are described in details. Last chapter contains the description of construction of testing module and measuring of system parameters.

Wir möchten den Raspi im Vortrag etwas näher vorstellen und in einer kleinen Demonstration Anregungen für eigene Projekte geben. Gespannt sind wir auch auf Projekte, welche die Zuhörer bereits mit dem Raspberry Pi umgesetzt haben.
