Daugiamačių duomenų vizualizavimas naudojantis daugiasluoksniais neuroniniais tinklais / Visualization of multidimensional data using multilayer neuron networks

Packaitė, Renata 11 June 2004 (has links)
The present diploma work investigates visualization of multidimensional data using multilayer neuron networks. The research comprised artificial neuron network (SAMANN) for non – linear projection, and visualization of multidimensional space data to smaller measurement space. The SAMANN network is trained by error backpropagation algorithm, that is, a multilayer perceptron is trained by using gradient descent rule for minimization of accumulated square error. Programme language helped creating a language for SAMANN network realization. Practical researches were carried out, that is, plane visualization of specific data sets complex (vectors). Dependence of visualization accuracy on number of iterations, training speed parameter and number of neurons in hidden layers was established. The following software was used for the work: Microsoft Visual Studio 6.00 C++ (for realization of SAMANN network) and Microsoft Excel 2002 (for visualization of the created programme).

Visual Studio Add-in for Proxy Object Code Generation

Thangavel, Gopalakrishnan January 2013 (has links)
In recent years, Component models have become common for desktop and server-side applications. But it has not obtained such importance in case of embedded real-time systems.  Therefore, there has been a lot of research undergoing for introducing such component models for embedded real-time systems.  This thesis work proposes an alternative approach for doing this, by the generation of proxies.   The idea is to provide an extension to an existing binary component and modify it to adapt to the targeted real-time operating system. Rather than modifying the existing component, a new component is generated, which is called as the proxy component.  This newly generated proxy component provides the same method implementation as the original component and also provides some additional services.  These services enable these components to meet the needs of targeted embedded real-time systems.  In order to achieve this, a Visual Studio 2008 add-in has been created. This add-in is capable of inspecting an existing Smart Device Component and visualizes the Classes, Interfaces and Methods in the original component in its UI.  In addition to this, the add-in also shows the available services to be included in the proxy component.  The UI of the add-in is designed in such a way that, the user is able to select the services, which should be included in the proxy component.  Based on the user’s selection, the add-in generates the proxy component with the additional services.

Email meets issue-tracking: a prototype implementation

Kwinana, Zukhanye N 11 June 2013 (has links)
The use of electronic mail (email) has evolved from sending simple messages to task delegation and management. Most mail clients, however, have not kept up with the evolution and as a result have limited task management features available. On the other hand, while issue tracking systems offer useful task management functionality, they are not as widespread as emails and also have a few drawbacks. This thesis reports on the exploration of the integration of the ubiquitous nature of email with the task management features of issue-tracking systems. We explore this using simple ad-hoc as well as semi-automated tasks. With these two working together, tasks can be delegated from email clients without needing to switch between the two environments. It brings some of the benefits of issue tracking systems closer to our email users. The system is developed using Microsoft VisuaI Studio.NET. with the code written in C#. The eXtreme Programming (XP) methodology was used during the development of the proof-of-concept prototype that demonstrates the integration of the two environments, as we were faced at first with vague requirements bound to change, as we better understood the problem domain through our development. XP allowed us to skip an extended and comprehensive initial design process and incrementally develop the system, making refinements and extensions as we encountered the need for them. This alleviated the need to make upfront decisions that were based on minimal knowledge of what to expect during development. This thesis describes the implementation of the prototype and the decisions made with each step taken towards developing an email-based issue tracking system. With the two environments working together, we can now easily track issues from our email clients without needing to switch to another system. / KMBT_363 / Adobe Acrobat 9.54 Paper Capture Plug-in

Potros, Bashar January 2018 (has links)
To detect defective air nozzles, Ecco Finishing AB in Skara has developed a new test equip-ment to replace an unreliable and uncertain existing test machine. Ecco Finishing AB wants to find a reliable and safe measurement method that will measure the amount of water in 50 test tubes. The overall goal of the thesis is to find a precise and repeatable measurement method for level measurement of fluid in the test tubes. Two measurement methods were evaluated that are most suitable for level measurement, vision systems and measurement by weighing. The reason for the choice of these two measurement methods is the test tubes of the test equipment, and that there are many measuring points and because of the small test tubes. Twenty experiments for vision systems and twenty experiments for weighingmethodwere made to evaluate and describe pros and cons. The experiments of vision systems and weighing were first made in the laboratory phase and then tested on the company's existing test equipment. The results of measurements were saved in an Excel sheet used to evaluate collected data. The evaluations were compared to set goals, reliability, accuracy, repeatabil-ity, automatic reporting of results and time of measurement. Vision systems are recom-mended for continued work and implementation on the existing test equipment

A web-based tool for managing intellectual property laws

Eriksson, Oskar January 2013 (has links)

.Net-baserat konsulthanteringssystem / .Net based Consultant Management System

Björklund, Patrik, Dahlgren, Tobias, Wilhelmson, Marcus January 2010 (has links)
The students have been assigned a task from Consid, were they are supposed to develop a web based platform for handling the company’s consult CV:s. The key features of the system are to simplify the administration part at mission procurements towards customers and to match qualified consultants to certain missions.Consid is an international it-consult company and have about 1000 consults working for them. When Consid makes mission procurements towards a customer they have to manually match the best consult against a certain mission, this is both time consuming and complicated. The students started the project with big visions and thoughts about how the work would be performed and how the system would be developed. After the initial meetings and the closer it came to the beginning of programming it became clear that the expectations were too big. This is the biggest lesson learned during the project and something that has come to influence the rest of the development. The students have been compelled to learn a totally new way of structuring the code by the three tier architecture. They have also been able to get a deeper understanding of how system development is performed by companies. Before the project begun the students and the company made a requirement specification for the system. The goals for the system and early limitations were made. Along the project those goals and limitations have been changed. The report handles the work with the development and read up on problems and solutions. It ends with a discussion and is summarized so the reader gets a better picture of the system and the work around it.
