[pt] O Lirismo Contemporâneo de Artur Barrio nas obras Trabalho Processo 4 dias 4 noites e Fortaleza-Lisboa pretende apontar alguns aspectos da obra deste artista, dando especial atenção à performance Trabalho Processo 4 dias 4 noites, de 1970, e também às duas instalações Fortaleza-Lisboa, desenvolvidas respectivamente em 2001 (Galeria Cândido Portinari, Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro) e 2004 (XXVI Bienal Internacional de Arte de São Paulo). O ponto de partida está baseado na compreensão poética de Barrio, no sentido literário do termo. Tal enfoque se apresenta intrinsecamente vinculado à maneira peculiar com que lida com a idéia de indistinção entre arte e vida, visível, inclusive, em sua forma de escrita. Assim, é a partir dessa premissa que a junção de palavras, como em IdéiaSituação, espelha o que para Artur Barrio sempre foi uma condição: a inseparabilidade entre objeto e sujeito. Assim, ganha relevância a equação Arte = Vida, indispensável à compreensão do fazer artístico de Barrio, capaz de situar sua obra, a um só tempo, como poética individual e parte integrante do quadro mais geral da produção artística atual. / [en] The Contemporary Lyricism of Artur Barrio in the works Work Process 4 days 4 night and Fortaleza-Lisboa intends to point some aspects of the work of this Artist, giving special attention to the performance entitled Work Process 4 days 4 nights in 1970, and also to the two installations both named Fortaleza-Lisboa, developed respectively in 2001 (Cândido Portinari gallery, Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro) and 2004 (XXVI the Biennial International of Art of São Paulo). Its starting point is based in understanding of the Barrio`s poetical view, in the literary meaning of the term. Such approach will be closely tied to the peculiar way it deals with the idea of similarity between art and life, also visible in his writing. So, it is from this premise that the tack between words such as IdéiaSituação (IdeaSituation) shows what always was a condition for Artur Barrio: the inseparable relationship between the things and the person. Thus, the equation Art = Life becomes relevant, even crucial to the understanding of Barrio`s artistry, which is capable to point out his workmanship both as individual poetics and as a constituting part of contemporary artistic production.
