[pt] A tese investiga o ativismo em prol da humanização do parto na cena contem-porânea, analisando as ações e as narrativas relativas ao parto humanizado e ao corpo junto aos sujeitos políticos da Rede Parto do Princípio (PP), que agenciam práticas e modos de existência no âmbito desse ativismo. O coletivo em questão tem no ambien-te sócio comunicacional digital da internet seu principal locus de composição, discussão e deliberação. Locus que escapa de frágeis antinomias como real versus virtual, tal espaço abre-se como um potencial ambiente comunicacional onde um comum é possível para o compartilhamento de experiências entre mulheres que ativam outros modos possíveis de pensar os direitos reprodutivos e sexuais. Leva-se em conta questões teóricas que atravessam a comunicação nas últimas décadas tais como: sociedade em rede e as novas modalidades de ação coletiva e de ativismo. São expostos tensões, dissensos e controvérsias comunicacionais em torno de uma problemática: o que dizem tais mulheres, quando falam parto humanizado? E quando falam meu corpo, minhas regras? Procura-se entender: 1. os processos comunicacionais que agenciam a construção de pautas e discussões; 2. as articulações entre experiências pessoais de assistência à gravidez e parto e o ativismo; 3. as formas de ação, engajamento e tomadas de decisões; 4. as negociações de sentidos e pertinências entre humanização do parto e direitos sexuais e reprodutivos; 5. as controvérsias entre direitos à saúde reprodutiva e sexual e as demandas do crescente mercado da humanização do parto e do nascimento. Metodologicamente, recorremos a uma etnografia virtual, com participação ativa da pesquisadora nos diversos ambientes da Rede Parto do Princípio e com a produção de entrevistas diretas e posterior análise de conteúdo, além de um estudo crítico sobre os documentos produzidos. Desse compósito, a pesquisa estipulou cinco categorias de análise: ação cívica; mercado/consumo; compartilhamento de experiências; gestão em rede; motivações/pautas. / [en] The dissertation investigates the activism in favor of the humanization of birth in the contemporary scene, analyzing the actions and narratives related to humanized birth and the body along with the political subjects of Rede Parto do Princípio (PP), who assemble practices and modes of existences within the scope of this activism. The investigated collective has in the socio-communicational digital environment of Internet its main locus of composition, discussion and deliberation. Locus that escapes from fragile antinomies as real versus virtual, such a space opens up as a potential communicational environment where a common is possible for sharing experiences among women that activate other possible ways of thinking about reproductive and sexual rights. It takes into account theoretical issues that cross communication in the last decades such as: network society and the new modalities of collective action and activism. We expose tensions, dissensions and communicational controversies around an issue: what do such women say when they speak of humanized childbirth? And when they say my body, my rules? We try to understand: 1. the communicational processes that assemble the construction of political repertory and discussions; 2. the articulations between personal experiences of assistance to pregnancy and childbirth and activism; 3. forms of action, engagement and decision-making; 4. the negotiations of meanings and pertinences between the humanization of childbirth and sexual and reproductive rights; 5. the controversies between rights to reproductive and sexual health and the demands of the growing market of the humanization of childbirth. Methodologically, we carried out a virtual ethnography, with active participation of the researcher in the different environments of Rede Parto do Princípio and with the production of direct interviews and later analysis of content, as well as a critical study on the documents produced. From this composite, the research stipulated five categories of analysis: civic action; market / consumption; sharing of experiences; network management; motivations / guidelines.

[pt] Partindo da lente dos direitos humanos para compreender a temática dos direitos sexuais e reprodutivos, o presente trabalho se debruça sobre os limites e o alcance das diretrizes humanísticas diante das mulheres vítimas de violência e morte no âmbito do sistema de saúde. O ensaio tem como foco principal o tema da mortalidade materna, identificada como importante indicador das condições de vida e saúde das mulheres e suscitada enquanto grave violação de direitos humanos e busca, por meio de uma abordagem interseccional, conceder luz aos diversos eixos de opressão presentes na abordagem a partir das contribuições de autoras como Kimberlé Crenshaw, Patricia Hill Collins e Jurema Werneck. Com a constatação de que mais de noventa por cento das mortes maternas são evitáveis, bem como com a convivência de altos índices de mortalidade materna anuais no país, o trabalho aborda o tema enquanto parte de um projeto político firmado a partir da imposição de sofrimento, da precarização de vidas e da estigmatização de corpos, considerando os direcionamentos políticos que parecem convergir para um cenário de intensificação de violação de direitos. Articulando conceitos de Judith Butler, o ensaio atenta à mortalidade materna a partir da perspectiva da morte digna ou não de lamento, buscando formas de reafirmação dos direitos humanos a partir de seu comprometimento concreto com as mulheres que vivenciam formas de violência no sistema de saúde nacional. / [en] Based on the lens of human rights to understand the theme of sexual and reproductive rights, the present paper focuses on the limits and the scope of the humanistic guidelines before women victims of violence and death within the health system. The main focus of the essay is the issue of maternal mortality, identified as an important indicator of women s living conditions and health, and raised as a serious violation of human rights, and seeks, through an intersectional approach, to give light to the various categories of social inequality present in the analysis from the contributions of authors such as Kimberlé Crenshaw, Patricia Hill Collins and Jurema Werneck. With the observation that more than ninety percent of maternal deaths are preventable, as well as with the coexistence of high annual maternal mortality rates in the country, the study addresses this issue as part of a political project based on the imposition of suffering, the precariousness of lives and the stigmatization of bodies, taking into account the political orientations that seem to converge to a scenario of intensification of violation of rights. Articulating concepts by Judith Butler, the essay focuses on maternal mortality from the perspective of death qualifying or not as grievable, seeking ways to reaffirm human rights based on its concrete commitment to women experiencing forms of violence in the national health system.

[pt] A democracia é um conceito em constante disputa que se reconstrói em torno das relações de poder fundadas com base no poder enraizado de suas instituições. Isto é, a força e a estabilidade da democracia e suas instituições dependem de sua vigência na mente das pessoas (Castells, 2018). Rompido o vínculo subjetivo entre o que os cidadãos pensam e querem e as ações daqueles que os representam, produz-se o que denominamos crise de legitimidade política. Se nos anos 1990 e primeira década dos 2000 há uma confluência nas discussões sobre Sociedade Civil Global e Governança global que apontavam na direção de que a atuação da sociedade Civil Global ampliaria a democracia, aqui propomos um passo crítico a essa abordagem a partir da discussão sobre Capitalismo de Vigilância. Assim, o presente trabalho tem o objetivo de contribuir para a discussão sobre crise da democracia, especificamente contestando a ideia de que a atuação da sociedade civil global levaria necessariamente a ampliação da democracia. Sob essa égide, observamos aspectos que eram base para a utopia da sociedade civil global foram colocados em cheque à medida que a tensão existente entre a horizontalidade da rede e as políticas de controle, vigilância e datificação da realidade foram reveladas. Diante dessa controvérsia, aqui pretendemos explorar o como a atuação da Sociedade Civil tensionou a democracia no século XXI explorando possibilidades de atuação e limites impostos pela disseminação das Tecnologias da Informação e Comunicação no Capitalismo de Vigilância. / [en] Democracy is a concept in constant dispute which is founded on the basis of its institutions. The strength and stability of democracy and its institutions depend on its validity in people s minds (Castells, 2018). Once the subjective link between what citizens think and want and the actions of those who represent them is broken the legitimacy of the system can be questioned. In the 1990s and the in first decade of the 2000s there was a confluence between the discussions on Global Civil Society and Global Governance that pointed in the direction of the expansion of democracy through the Global Civil Society. Conversely, here we propose to give a critical step using the discussion on Surveillance Capitalism. Thus, this work aims to contribute to the discussion on the crises of democracy, specifically challenging the idea that the role of global civil society leads necessarily to the expansion of democracy. We observe how aspects that were the basis for the global civil society utopia were put in check by the tension existing between the horizontality of the network-society and the policies of control and surveillance. In the face of this controversy, we explore how the workings of Civil Society have tensioned democracy in the 21st century. We also explore possibilities of action and limits imposed by the dissemination of Information and Communication Technologies whiting the context of Surveillance Capitalism.
