Após acompanhar alguns sujeitos - meus colaboradores -, e examinar a bibliografia prévia sobre os Siona, elaboro etnograficamente um argumento sobre memória, política e etnicidade que passa pelo exame das transformações nos âmbitos da chefia e dos rituais xamânicos. O material leva a traçar a história dos últimos 35 anos centrada na aldeia indígena de Buenavista e que inclui alguns pontos vizinhos, bem como nas trajetórias de indivíduos e famílias que saíram de lá para morar nas cidades de Mocoa e Puerto Asis. Este contexto é marcado por forças, fenômenos e agências específicas: os cultivos de coca, o narcotráfico, a guerra entre o Estado e as Forças Armadas Revolucionárias de Colômbia, FARC, o desenvolvimento do movimento indígena e de um dispositivo estatal indigenista articulado durante a década de 1990. Dado esse contexto, descrevo a formação de redes interétnicas e organizações políticas, nas quais os xamãs têm um papel destacado.<br> / Abstract : This thesis studies, from an ethnohistorical perspective, a series of transformations that the Siona (Western Tucanoans) of the Colombian Putumayo, have gone through over the last century. Based on prior literature on the subject, and on my own ethnographic fieldwork, I reflect on the political articulation of memories and ethnicity, encompassing changes in the areas of leadership and shamanic localities and rituals. The data collected during my fieldwork allows me to tracing back the regional history of the past 35 years, focusing not only on the indigenous village of Buenavista and on some neighboring locations, but also on the trajectories of individuals and families who left there to live in the cities of Mocoa and Puerto Asis, in a context marked by specific agencies and phenomena like the coca crops, drug trafficking, the war between the government and the FARCs, and the development, at the national, regional and local levels, of an indigenous political movement in its relation with the state and the capitalist market. Given this context, I describe the contemporary formation of interethnic networks and political organizations, in which shamans have a prominent role.
