The theoretical part of the thesis mainly deals with the definitions of sense of humor, humor, stress, life events and life satisfaction and presents an overview of the most basic theories related to these topics at the same time. The aim of the work is looking for connection between the three themes. Above all, it shows the positive impact of sense of humor to cope with stress and life events. What role play a sense of humor in psychotherapy? Can psychotherapy help to improve life satisfaction? As this work was created behind the ongoing systemic psychotherapy, corresponds to the mentioned questions also. The research seeks to establish relationships between sense of humor and life satisfaction and consequently their impact on coping stress and life events. The empirical part is based on quantitative data processing, which were obtained by using several questionnaire. The results of quantitative data analysis are supplemented by qualitative observations and insights that explain conclusions of study. Based on the processed data has shown that life satisfaction increases clients during psychotherapy. However the relationship between sense of humor and life satisfaction, as well as their impact on coping stress and life events has not been empirically confirmed. The master thesis deals with the life style of female students at the University of South Bohemia. Definition of the word "life style" and all its important subparts that it embraces was a theoretical prerequisite for the practical part of the thesis. As the life style is a very broad subject, the theoretical part was focused on the most important parts that define a life style, namely: values of life, dietary regime, leisure time, and factors that negatively impact the life style. The practical part deals with the research itself whereby, using questionaries examinations, resemblances of life styles were observed among female students of the University of South Bohemia. Data were then analyzed and the conclusion of the thesis was made.

This thesis deals with life and job satisfaction of the teachers at secondary schools. The theoretical part focuses on the definitions of life and job satisfaction. It describes their definitions, dimensions and determinants affecting life and job satisfaction. It also reports the characteristics of the teaching profession, the teacher´s personality and his/her typology. The thesis refers about the demands that are placed on their position, then about the risks that threaten. The practical part is conceived as a research of life and job satisfaction using a standardized questionnaire of life satisfaction by J. Fahrenberg et al.(2001). The main task of this thesis is to measure or find out how much are the secondary school teachers satisfied not only in their jobs but also within their lives. These points are very important and motivating.

Therefore the insurance companies came up with a new and very flexible life insurance, which fully suits the needs of present clients and gives them the possibility to be engaged and co-determine on their finances. Unit Linked Insurance is the very life insurance. Comparison of these two types of life insurance is the objective of this presented work. It describes the differences of the two insurances, what are their advantages or disadvantages, but also it determines the possibility of combination of Unit linked insurance with cooperation with mortgage credit. Further it also describes what is important and how to setup the Unit linked insurance so that the bank will accept it as a possible funding of housing.

This thesis deals with actual questions about life insurance on the Czech insurance market. At the beginning of the work, life insurance is described from a theoretical point of view - main characteristic, forms of traditional and new products, kinds of available insurances. It also deals with Czech insurance market, price of insurance and insurance premium in case of insured event. The last part contains actual problems with life insurance - one-shot insurance payment, universal life insurance, equality of rights of men and women, distributional channels and general insurance conditions.

The theoretical part summarizes current knowledge of insurance, insurance market and life insurance. The practical part analyses the present circumstrances in the observed company and compares the particular offers of the capital life insurance of the chosen insurance companies. The practical part also includes the suggestion for the use of capital life insurance as the employee's amenities.

This diploma thesis deals with investment life insurance and its alternatives. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate whether it is more advantageous to use the investment life insurance or individual investing into investment funds together with the purchase of risk life insurance. The evaluation is based on analysis and comparison of specific insurance and investment products. Mutual comparison is performed on an example with the help of products of three particular insurance companies. Based on the author´s findings, the last part of the thesis contains recommendations for clients how to effectively cover the risks as well as increase the value of their finances.

The diploma thesis deals with important determinants that affect living standards in the countries of the European Union. The living standard is measured using chosen composite indicators. The thesis uses a multidimensional regression ana-lysis, which confirms the relevancy of the selected determinants and quantifies their influence on the value of a particular indicator. Selected factors represent independent variables. The thesis monitors the extent to which selected determi-nants explain living standards in EU countries. Next is used factor analysis to veri-fy the correct choice of determinants. Factor analysis reduces a large number of variables and creates latent factors, to which assigns the score. Score of factors enters again to regression analysis. The differences between the EU countries, which are caused by the incomes and satisfaction factors, are commented in the last part of the thesis. Differences are identified by cluster analysis.

Title of the thesis: Mapping the lifestyle of 16-17-year-olds in Neratovice. Aim of the study: The thesis surveys the components of the lifestyle of young people in the Neratovice region, in the hope of influencing the state of health of the age group of 16-17 years. Method: The work is based on a sociological survey conducted in 2012 at two schools with different forms of tuition - a grammar school (gymnázium) and a vocational school (učiliště) in Neratovice. The research method was a poll. The polling had two stages: two pilot surveys on a sample of 149 respondents, and a study of 174 respondents. The final data were analyzed with respect to gender and the type of school using the Mann- Whitney U test. The survey questions were based on the questionnaire CAV 2001 for youth and the questionnaire "Determinanty účasti na cvičení" (University of Tasmania - FTK UP Olomouc). Results: The results of the survey show that boys are doing significantly better in physical activity (PA) and girls in physical inactivity (PI) and diet. Grammar school students are doing better in PA and they have a significantly better diet than vocational school students. As for PI, the results were similar for both groups.
