臺灣地區大學教師升等制度之研究 / The research of faculty promotion system in Taiwan

本研究主要採用文獻探討、比較研究以及訪談研究方法，進行研究。文獻探討方面，討論升等制度相關理論原則，以及升等制度的相關法規與校內規定。比較研究的對象，除了我國之外則為美國與日本兩國。訪談研究是訪問日本筑波大論文學芳賀純名譽教授，以了解日本以及筑波大學的實務狀況。 　　論文架構第一章為緒論，第二章為大學教師相關理論原則之探討，第三章介紹我國臺灣地區大學教師升等制度的演進現況與大學內部的規定，第四章介紹美國與日本大學升等制度的現況，第五章為各國比較，第六章為討論，第七章為結論與建議。 　　第七章的部份，乃參酌理論原則與美日大學教師升等的運作現況與我國現況之比較下之後。提出建議，其中包括對院教評會、聘期制、長聘制、教師評鑑、升等程序等方面提出建議。附錄部份，含有對日本筑波名譽教授的訪談要點節錄。
